My lifelong passion has always been the baking and presentation of gourmet desserts. After a successful career in the fashion industry, I made my dream a reality and enrolled in the Pastry and Baking Arts Program at the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC, graduating as an accredited Pastry Chef in 2006.

After baking specialities for Seasons, a NYC kosher gourmet market, I formed my own company, Susan Sez "Say it With Cake". Whether for catered parties or for just a special dessert treat, I produce homemade strictly kosher baked goods from the finest ingredients. I am confident you will enjoy our Almond Horns, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Cake, Cheesecake, Cupcakes and more.
Services
A blue ribbon award-winning recipe! Classic graham cracker crust, the finest cream cheese blended with cottage cheese, and a hint of lemon zest. It doesn't get any creamier as it melts in your mouth. Dairy 9" round (12-18 servings) 7" round (10 servings) To reserve a cake, please call us 48 hours in advance.
An enjoyable taste of real bananas and chocolate chips makes this cupcake a special treat. Now you don't need to buy a cake to enjoy the taste of Susan's award-winning recipe. Cheesecake cupcakes provide the same big taste in one-portion servings. Order cupcakes for your own enjoyment or delight your guests with their own individual serving.
A refreshing cake with a big splash of lemon flavor that intensifies at the top. The tangy flavor comes from adding both lemon zest (outer yellow skin of lemon) and lemon juice to the cake batter. The spices take backseat to the taste of the pumpkin and the chocolate chips make this very tasty, moist cake extra special.
We take great pleasure baking birthday and other celebratory cakes, and you get to design it your way. Decorations: We provide complementary cake decorations (such as flowers, balloons, geometric designs) and an inscription (even in Hebrew!). We also welcome "special" requests such as the football themed birthday cake (additional charge may apply).
Yes, we have many cakes and pastries without nuts but please be aware that we are not a nut-free facility. We are a peanut free facility, we use almonds pecans and filbert nuts. The #1 Train to 125th Street is the closest subway. Located on 123rd Street off of Amsterdam Avenue, we are a short walk from the subway.

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I love how the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the spot well kept regularly. Rates are convenient and they serve big portions.

The women working here are so sweet! When you place an online order, you must call to confirm. I didn’t know this but they got my order done for me in under 20 minutes anyway! Very excited to dig into the cake!

I liked their cookies and challah but.. I recommend others not to try the ginger cake. I was sad when I had to throw away 2/3 of the cake, which wasn't that cheap either. I also wish if the people working there were more friendly.

Her cakes are amazing. I usually pick one up each week for our Shabbos meal. I still can't get over how good her lemon cake tastes... I've brought this cake to multiple pot luck lunches, and it is always a big hit. Fresh, kosher, and delicious.

Growing up I was lucky enough to have friend's whose mom's and grandmothers were awesome bakers. But when I moved to NY it was impossible to find a kosher bakery that didn't serve mediocre baked goods. I almost felt like because they were kosher they bakers did not think they needed to try. But "say it with cake" is nothing like that. There baked goods are awesome and taste great. They have so many kosher choices and even change around what they sell so your not stuck with the same old stuff. I give "say it with cake" 5 stars and recommend it to anyone who is kosher or wants to buy something kosher
