We loved Dr. Goodfellow. He loved our critters. He retired 2 years ago. I didn't think we would ever have a vet as calming, compassionate, and professional as he. I was wrong. This is still a fantastic veterinary practice.

We took my extremely healthy German Shepard for spaying and 12 hours later she was dead , the emergency vet said she had internal bleeding due to the surgery . I called the next day and left a message for the vet at New Carlisle animal hospital to call me . She called and explained what she did and at no point said she was sorry my dog had died .
I can only recommend seeking another place to take
Your animals - as this place is dangerous - I believe they killed my very healthy dog

Even though I had been taking my animals there since I was a young child at that point for over 45 years, they would not work 😒 in my dog for an appointment and he was in very severe shape. He had a respiration of 74 when it should have been 15, he was passing out, he was very weak and I had no clue what was going on. This was on a Friday afternoon and they were open on Saturday but still refused to work him in even though we were a long-standing patient. I finally was able to get him into the airway Animal Clinic who diagnosed him with Congestive Heart Failure and put him on Lasix and Enalapril

I called this afternoon to try to get my dog in last minute as he was shaking uncontrollably and vomiting bile. We were concerned for seizures, etc, but had moved down to Dayton a few years back and have yet to establish a vet due to no issues. When this arose, we needed to get into somewhere quick, but almost every clinic would not see him. The receptionist took down the symptoms and recommended Pepcid due to our pup’s symptoms and weight. This did the trick and within an hour he was back to normal. I’m thankful for the quick recommendation and responsiveness of their office.

I took my 5 month old Rottweiler in for a back injury. They were extremely rude. They talked to me for 10 minutes about how aggressive the breed is... and that he wouldn't walk on leash... he was injured and in pain. They said he wasn't aggressive towards them, but they couldn't get him to walk. As for his injury they sent him home with anti-inflammatory medicine and said for him to rest. He left there in more pain then when we got there. I HATE they wouldn't let me in with him. They had a predetermined bias on his breed. I'm worried about how they treated him.

NCAH does a fantastic job with their patients. I have a 110 lb pit bull that even emergency vet clinics seem scared to deal with but the folks at New Carlisle, while cautious, show no true fear and seem truly interested in caring for your critters regardless of breed. Beyond that, they're very sweet and super helpful in all aspects of your pet's care. 10/10 would recommend.

They are always ready to help me with the newest rescue that finds me. This amazing team has helped me with a dumped black cat on Halloween, a duck with bad luck, and even an entire litter of orphaned pups. BAC is my go to vet with any question I have. They even did emergency surgery on our lab Sissy to try to save her life even though it was too late. When we lost our fur babies BAC had sent us beautiful cards. They have been the family vet for years and in a dire situation I would trust Dr. Goodfellow to operate on myself. The newest Doc has been doing her best and I feel as if my animals may
