DaBigRing pedal hook is a horizontal bike storage system that holds the bike by the pedal with adjustable legs that have three settings. At age five I started commuting to Kindergarten and spent most of the days riding my bike. After my racing career fizzled out in 2000, I started renovating homes and making furniture. I had collected over 20 bikes and some of them were true collector items that just didn't belong in a basement.

The Dan pedal hook is a horizontal bike storage system. Dan holds the bikes at a 25 degree angle from the wall, allowing for staggered installation. You can hang up to three bikes on an 8 foot tall wall. Pedals that don't fit: Powertap P1, Syntace No.9, oneUp, Kona Wah Wah and RaceFace Atlas platform pedals will not fit in the gap by 2mm.
The answer is: MAYBE. We recommend getting two screws of the pedal hook into a stud when dealing with a hollow core wall (like Sheetrock), but for super lightweight bikes (around 20lbs.) The pedal hook system is designed to work with all bikes. Road bikes, MTB's with wide bars (up to 28 or 711mm) BMX and hybrids weighing up to 40 lbs.
Pedal hooks are horizontal bike storage solutions, but unlike the shelves, there is no extra storage. They are easy to use and offer the display look of shelves at a lower cost. The newest versions of pedal hooks from DaHANGER are called DAN and DaSPROCKET which angle the bikes (each at a different rate) from the wall allowing for a staggered installation.
