I have visited this store five times. I have zero bike basic repair skills. They were patient, willing to assist with adjustments that other bike shops charge for. I smashed my front brakes with my bike rack and Jonah fixed it on the spot in the parking lot at no charge. He then helped me in the shop to select new tires for both of my bicycles. He gave some great recommendations. The manager was helpful as well opening the shop
after hours so I could pick up my bike. They are an excellent bike shop. You will not be disappointed taking your bikes there.

Honestly one of the best bike shop I've been in. The guys who run are some of the nicest, most generous folks I've run into the industry. Always make a point of stopping in there when I'm in New Paltz. They have more than a couple of times, bailed me out of mechanical issues when I've been bikepacking through the area.

Wow, I am impressed! I’ve been in the shop three times over the past few months and the service has always been super friendly and professional. They fixed a creaky headset, helped me out with a new pair of pedals, and mostly recently plugged a leaky tire and tamed a troublesome dropper seat post. The service was always done right the first time and while I waited – WOW! Thank you to Bike Depot for helping to make New Paltz an awesome place to bike and live!

Wonderful experience at this establishment. As you guys know, new bikes are extremely difficult to come by. I went on the Specialized web site to try to locate the bicycle that I wanted. According to the Specialized web site the bike was in stock. I shot them a quick e-mail to confirm that they had the bicycle and they responded rather quickly (couple hours). In the e-mail they stated price, color size etc. All the important facts. When I went to pick up the bike there was no hard sell on accessories. I told him what I wanted added to bike. Matter of fact I had to bring it up which I was fine with

This place is great. Their service is top notch. I have never left here disappointed. I will not let any other shop work on my bike. All my repairs and upgrades have been done quicker then expected. Their prices are very reasonable. Everyone who works here are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I flew in from Fla. to visit my family in Putnam county and decided to go up to New Paltz to go ride. The decision I made all week. The bike was super nice and extremely easygoing staff. And the trail was 20 feet away from the store. I would highly recommend.

I've known Mike and Geoff for more than a decade now. For years they happily (and beautifully) looked after my and my wife's road bikes. Then they helped us choose the perfect mountain bikes, and now we are about to buy 3rd bikes from then for our twins who are about to turn 9. I've never experienced better or more friendly service from any store anywhere. Ever. Just a class act.

We rented bikes to go on the Mohank and Minnewaswa trails - Jeff provided us with great bikes and suggested view points that would be great for the ride.
He went above an beyond to accommodate us when we were running late. would definitely recommend renting from there (reserve in advance - they do get sold out fairly quickly) and look forward to coming back soon for another great ride.

I own a 2012 Redline conquest carbon pro.
Took my bike here to get a tune up and some adjustments on my dérailleur. Was greeted by a kid who didn't know what he was doing (was apparently his first day so I understand that ever one needs to learn). The kid put my bike up on the rack and said everything was fine. He then passed me off to someone else who said they would look at it and the return time frame would be two weeks. I left feeling VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.
The next day they told me my drive train was shot and my front gears needed replacing. My bike is less than two years old with

Great bike shop. They are knowledgeable and modest, and seemed to have everything I was looking for.
I came in with derailleur issues and the guys stopped what they were doing and helped me get on my way. I'm sure that on a busier day they wouldn't be able to do that, but it spoke to the dedication and knowledgeability of their team.
