Arizona Recovers empowers individuals and connects communities affected by addiction, mental health, and trauma. Services
Arizona Recovers, as a community partner, is committed to lessening the burden and assisting with continued care for patients who are identified moderate to high risk for suicide through BRAVE Connections-Mental Health Track. Patients post attempt are most at risk seven days post discharge and up to 70% never attend their first outpatient appointment (Knesper, 2010).
Cutting-edge research tells us that experiencing childhood emotional trauma can play a large role in whether we develop physical disease or mental health disorder in adulthood. This research tells us that what doesn't kill you doesn't necessarily make you stronger; far more often, the opposite is true.
We had 67 people sign up to meet with their representatives and almost 20 more who showed up to support!
