Our connection with the land and commitment to sustainable agriculture is a key factor in crafting our wines. Adega Vinho means "Wine Cellar" in Portuguese.

The Bilger Family mission is to grow high quality grapevines in the challenging Fredericksburg AVA(American Viticultural Area) of the Texas Hill Country and produce great tasting wines from our grapes. These difficult to grow Texas Hill Country grapes will be crafted into wonderful flowing blends to satisfy your palette.
This trapezoidal design from the industrial outside of the building to the inside wood textures reflect our modern take on the tasting room. The design was influenced heavily by Scandinavian modern architecture and our desire to maintain clean lines, wood textures and modern open space.
We value the experience of the tasting room and hope that you find your time at the bar, on the patio, out under a tree or curled up on our couches a fun relaxing and pleasant respite from your day.Wine and setting go hand in hand with your tasting experience and memories of the wine. The Adega Vinho Founders Club is the VIP ticket to Adega Vinho. Limited to the first 100 members, this exclusive case club will have quarterly Texas Wine allotments for $500+Tax per case. Each case will be curated, by Michael & Andy, and contain an assortment of our Estate and 100% Texas Wines. A Founders member will have early access to all pre-release wine, small batch production and limited releases.
The Bilger Family's story is no more unusual or interesting than the average American story. We are a mixed bag of nationalities, some of us arrived prior to the American Revolution, some of us fought in the Civil War, while others landed on our shores more recently.
Our ancestors farmed, worked the railroads, drilled for oil, mined coal, ministered, built buildings and businesses, and all worked hard to build better lives for the next generations.Today the Bilger Family is spread around the world and across the fruited plains of the Americas. We hold close the ideals of our past while gazing hopefully, and with great expectation, into our future.
