Helping individuals find vitality, connection, vision, and greater meaning for their lives. I enjoy helping individuals identify a clearer vision for their lives so that they can strategically direct their energies into a meaningful future. As a licensed psychologist with a background in theological study, I respect the personal ways individuals make sense of their experience.

I help my clients identify the self-reinforcing negative spirals that prevent them from feeling vital, connected, and purposeful. Drawing upon the current and evolving knowledge base in the fields of psychology and neuroscience, I provide my clients assistance with the challenging process of creating change in their lives.
Services
I approach counseling as a collaborative process designed to help individuals address their concerns, come to a greater understanding of themselves, and learn effective personal and interpersonal coping strategies. At the center of this process is a confidential relationship between an individual and a trained therapist who has the desire and willingness to help them accomplish their individual goals.
As a professional relationship, we need to agree on the terms of our work together. This is spelled out in the Client Information and Consent for Services document and the Georgia Notice Form. Please read these documents thoroughly.

When we set up an initial appointment I will invite you to set up a client portal, where you can update all of your information, including reading and signing the consent form which represents your understanding of and agreement to these terms.Additionally, to give us the option of using telemental health, please read and sign the telemental health addendum which will also be found on the client portal.
My fee is $150 for a standard 45 minute session. Individuals may choose to pay by check, cash, or credit card or in some cases may use their health insurance. You will receive a reminder (email, text or phone options) for any scheduled appointment 48 hours in advance or your appointment. A cancellation fee ($75.00) will be charged if you are unable to give at least 24 hours notice that you will not be attending a scheduled session.
If you have a health insurance policy, it will usually provide some coverage for behavioral health treatment. If you are not on one of the plans I am in-network for, your plan may provide some out-of-network benefits. Please check with member services to determine your benefits for behavioral health outpatient treatment.
My office hours for appointments are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; Wednesday and Friday 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. I take a break for lunch from 12:30 pm to 2:15 pm. I offer appointment self-scheduling and management for existing or past clients through my client portal. If you have any difficulties with this, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Dr. Lucy has helped me through some difficult times both in my professional life and personal life. He's literally changed the way I think through problems, issues and stress. He's been somewhat of a Life Coach in many ways. I own two businesses, by myself and I seriously don't think I could have made it this far without him. His office environment is very welcoming and comfortable (parking kind of sucks though). Dr. Lucy gets to the root of the issue and helps lead you down a path so that you learn to solve your own problems by seeing things through a different perspective. Very easy to talk things
