South Pointe High School is a public charter school located in south/central Phoenix. Like traditional public schools, our doors are open to ALL students free-of-charge. We are AdvancED accredited and adhere to the same high academic standards set for all public schools by the Arizona State Department of Education.
Our students graduate with diplomas that lead them into college careers, exciting job opportunities, and military service. We are proud of each and every one of our students and feel that we offer them a richly rewarding, positive academic experience. In Arizona, an "open enrollment" policy exists that allows students and their parents to enroll in any school within or outside of their current school district.

South Pointe High School is accredited by the AdvancED, an independent organization that reviews public schools and colleges. The accreditation process consists of a thorough review, evaluation and graded report of the school's mission, performance goals, courses, teacher instruction, administrative procedures and achievement data, to name a few areas.

South Pointe High School offers a quality education program designed to the unique needs of each student. Our accelerated and flexible class scheduling allows student to successfully meet graduation requirements quickly and successfully. We offer the classes needed to meet the Arizona state requirements for graduation.
South Pointe High School offers curriculum that is directly aligned to Arizona's College and Career Ready Standards. Each core academic area (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies) has a Scope and Sequence for each course that is offered to students.
All of our teachers and staff participate in Professional Development to assure that everyone has access to new strategies and best practices for the classroom in order to prepare our students for the AZMerit and success beyond high school.Students take the AZMerit exam for each end of year course they are enrolled in throughout the year.
