Yum! I have to admit I was a little wary of mall food court sushi. But the $5 daily deal tempted me, so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I gave it a chance because it was so fresh & delicious! I've been back several times now & it never disappoints. My personal favorite is the Crunchy California Roll. I highly recommend it!

Food was good, but service lacking. I ordered the seafood bowl (with salmon) and gyoza dumplings. The bowl was fresh and tasty 5/5 but the dumplings were heated up in a microwave so I wasn't impressed with those.
Customer service was odd. They didn't acknowledge I was there until I went around the corner (where you can't see the menu) to order. Then the guy answered a phone call and would talk to me and the person on the phone as I was ordering.

I was hesitant to try this place out but it really was good and now I hope they never go out of business! I got the Samarai which consisted of spicy tuna, spicy salmon, yellowtail and jalapeno... and something else but it was tasty and not slimy! The owner packed on generous portions in the roll and topped everything with a variety of black and roasted sesame seeds, spicy mayo, and tobiko flakes.
I also asked about their ramen which comes with tonkatsu broth. Will have to try with their char sui pork next time.
