Services
Northwoods Brewpub is dedicated to helping you enjoy the finest handcrafted brews available. Our beers are brewed on premises to be enjoyed fresh and unpasteurized. And our brewmaster has high quality standards, guaranteeing you a great tasting brew straight from the tank! Brewed by the Walters Brewing Company for over 100 years we decided to bring this classic lager back.
Brewing assistant by day and cook by night. I am responsible for all the tasks in the brewery that the brewmaster refuses to do like cleaning tanks, cleaning kegs, packing and stacking freshly canned beer. If it's a dirty job in the brewery, I'm probably the man doing it! Then like Superman I change my cape, cap & shoes to fly into the kitchen to cook and do more cleaning.

Very cool brewpub bar & restaurant. Probably the nicest place around the area. Several beers that were unpretentious which is nice to find since most brewpubs are pretty snooty. Great outdoor seating. Great indoor atmosphere and bartender was very nice when we were there. Food was very good. Good menu. Nothing to crazy but everything we had was awesome.

Horrible! Ordered a drink and barely had any alcohol in it- literally- had to say a few times that I shouldnāt have to pay $6 for a drink with literally no alcohol in it and she finally added a little more. Asked if they had flights of beer- told no- then see 3 people with flights of beer! We ordered a pizza- no flavor and barely any toppings but paid extra for two toppings! No one came to check on us after we got our food! Donāt waste your time and money stopping here!

Food was alright, service wasn't great. They never checked in or said hi unless you approached them. We are into craft beer and from the twin cities with lots of variety and options. This beer was my least favorite in all that I've tried over the years. A lot of it was watery. Unfortunately, Not worth the stop :(.

Pretty big place with live music and good food. The bartender was working extra hard. He seemed to be doing it all. Taking food orders, pouring beer, delivering food and bussing! And he still managed to keep us happy. We had burnt ends. They were covered with sauce. I am not a big bbq sauce. But the sauce were not awful. Good prices and beer options.

Went there on the way home from a road trip up north. As a beer snob, they kept giving us samples of different beers to try.... none of them were very good. Their IPA (walli ipa) was just not even an ipa, it was terrible. Food was ok. But very cheap food quality. Wouldn't recommend for beer if you're looking for quality beer

This place has a great atmosphere to hang out. All north woods bar and restaurant but with most excellent selection of beers. Four of us enjoyed good service - ie you order at the bar and the server brings out the food. The fish sandwich and Ruben sandwich were both very tasty. Two of us spilt a pizza. The whole wheat crush was nice and thin and toppings flavorful- seemed a bit dry though - maybe a bit more sauce would have helped. This was our second trip to osseo Northwoods and we'll be back for sure

My amazing girl friend found this amazing pub on our travel from Chicago to White Bear Lake. Everything was great: the ambiance, the food, the beers, and the staff... everything. This will now become a regular stop. Big ups to Eddy, the brew master, for the awesome conversation.
Left the establishment with six cases of some of the best beer I've ever had.

The food is good but it comes out fairly slow so, it's not a great place for a quick bite otherwise the service is great
I would highly recommend it as a place for a few drinks while you hang out a while. The beer and craft sodas they have are excellent. I would highly recommend Kelly's stout if you are a fan of sweet stouts.

Wow! The food was amazing! We both got a Stout burger and everything about it was perfect, from the croissant bun to the hot and delicious BBQ sauce. They even nailed the medium rare. The fries were great but my date had the hand cut potato chips and they were fantastic. The buying at the bar service was a bit slow and I love beer, but I did not love their beer. Peanut butter Stout was weird, some were sour and it seemed that in their desperation to be different the beers were just a little too odd. After trying 8 different beers we settled on Red Cedar Red Ale. We'll come again even if only

A newer place and something this area needed badly. The people were great and it's a very cool venue. I tried two different brisket sandwiches and a few appetizers. The smoke on the brisket was a little campfire-y. I'm curious what they have in the smokers. The cheese curds were solid, jalapeƱo poppers were charred really nicely and the portions were reasonable.
They were missing several beers from their menu and the display above the bar, which I assume is the list of what is actually available, was really disorganized and said nothing about the beer, so you had to reference the menu
