Our Story Report

The building that stands today as The Colony Seafood and Steakhouse was originally built in 1958, opening under the name "The Colony House". Over the years the building bore several monikers including "The Hanover House", "The Hanover Harbor House", and "Spaghetti Junction". The building had been vacant for two years before being taken over by the LaBarbera family in 1982.

My husband had is annual Ehmke Well Drillers Christmas Dinner party there last night, and the food, the service and the atmosphere was beyond exceptional. 10 stars if that is possible.

Food was excellent and the décor was lovely. Waitress knowledgeable and friendly. The prices were high so for us it will be just for special occasions.

Service was slow. Waitress was nice but forgot my wife's French onion. Our dinners were both cold had to send back and even when they came back were still cold. Our bill was 170 bucks and for that price I would've thought it would be a lot better. We drove over an hour to this place because we read about it . Won't be back. Very disappointing!!

The food is always tasty, the wait staff friendly, and the environment relaxing and spacious. Last time I was there, I ordered the barbecue ribs. They were especially tasty and tender. I’ve been thinking about them ever since.

Wonderful size food portions little expensive for 2 people it cost $60 so it is a little bit more on the pricey side.
But very satisfied with the quality of service and food.

We ate here twice this week. The food was wonderful. Tasty with large portions. Our favorite part of the experience was Fatima, our server both nights.
