Services
We reverse the manufacturing process, separate and sort the various grades of metal for shipment. Although our primary source of the material is derived from our industrial accounts, we do accept drive in drop-offs from the public. As a leader in the scrap metal processing industry, we guarantee a prompt, professional, ethical and environmentally safe approach to handling your material.
Recycling one aluminum can save enough energy to run a TV for three hours or the equivalent of half a gallon of gasoline. If we recycle the aluminum trash that Americans throw away we could rebuild the entire U.S. airline fleet every 3 months. It is estimated that since 1972 some 16 million tons of aluminum cans have been recycled.
We have a broad scope of expertise, combining R2 recycling services, cost recovery, and the highest security data destruction available for our customers. J D BEAVERS CO consolidates the services that used to take 2 or 3 vendors. We purchase your obsolete electronics and other metals. We also provide special data destruction, removal, and proper end of life reclamation of flat-screen monitors.
We primarily purchase computer green boards including motherboards, daughter cards, server boards, mainframe boards, and boards removed from hard drives. We also buy computer-driven machinery boards. These boards are evaluated at the time of purchase and are valued between $1.00 and $5.00 lb. At the lower end, we buy low-grade monitor/ TV boards in the range of 10-20 cents a pound depending on commodity prices at the time of sale.
Hard drives require special attention. First, we buy them in various conditions and each pays a different price. You can bring them with the board attached or you can remove the board and sell us both the board and bare hard drive. We wipe out all information on hard drives to the highest standards.

So I went to this scrap yard a couple weeks ago. I'll preface with this, I have frequented many scrap yards in my life and used to take scrap back, from the automotive shop I worked at a few years ago monthly almost. This place WAS RUSHED. And if you want to actually see what price they'll give you for stuff, too bad! once they weight the first lot, the quickly throw it into a receptacle, as I think to myself "what if I don't like your prices". Secondly. After the first weigh of items. They removed the box to tare with and weighed my next lot, without re-zeroing(taring) the scale. The other guy

Ive been coming here on and off for 15 years. Recently I have been running my own business and part of another. On average I came about 4 times a week for the last year and a half. I will not be back ever again. I wont be disrespected while Im giving you business, its obvious you dont need or want it. I would rather go somewhere else. The chick in the scale booth needs to be talked to unless you promote low quality customer service at best.. You guys have gone out of your way in the past for me but this time was ridiculous. I dont have time for this bs.

Fair prices and excellent customer service. Update: I came in with 44 pounds of heavy duty copper wire there must have been a small amount of light wire with it because that's what I got, ripped off, they didn't bother to ask me. They were closing and don't give you a print out until they've already taken the wire away. I won't make that mistake again. I'll be asking to see what I'm getting before I leave the scale. Might put stars back if they bother to make it right when I come back.

Just found out about this place when they sent out flyers. I did some calling around before I went in to shop around on prices. They are paying the best around right now for the scrap steel. The place is a little dirty but compared to other scrap yards where I couldn’t even drive through this place is immaculate. They are extremely helpful for new people as well and walked me through the process. They are paying a lot better for copper now then almost any other scrap yard that I called. Overall a very pleasant experience and I’ll definitely be back.

Recently received a flyer in the mail from them, and was curious how it all worked. I called to find out prices because I have a lot of siding and extruded from side jobs and the such. I’ve been holding onto it for many years due to prices being down. After calling them I called around and found that they were paying 10 to 20 cents more a pound for all kinds of aluminum compared to places such as regals. When asked they said it was due to them having an industrial bailer so the could ship in bulk. They were very kind and walked me all the way through where to go and how it all works. Plus there

Had some copper pipe from an craft project that I didn't need any more, and wanted to scrap it to recoup some of the initial costs. I was looking at JD Beavers and another scrap place, but JD had better reviews so I went with them. They were super friendly, the process was easy to understand, and I feel like the price was fair. If you're doing scrapping as an ongoing business, I'm not sure how competitive their prices are down to the penny, but for what I needed (just getting rid of stuff and not wanting to deal with anybody shady), they were perfect.

Quick and efficient scrap yard. Everyone is friendly and knowledgable. They will help you unload your scrap. The guys helped me sort some steel to maximize my profit so I trust these guys. Easy access off 96 so I can get in and out real quick. Also very organized and they keep the ground picked up so your not driving on nails and scrap.

I have only been there a couple of times. They are the most helpful of any scrap yard I have ever been to. They are out of my way but when my computer scrap pile gets big enough I venture out their way. The people are friendly and will help you sort your computer scrap if you are unsure as how to separate it.
