The Big Blue Barn may be "big", but our tasting room has limited capacity, so we would like you to book an appointment for a 30 minute tasting. In the Appointment Notes, tell us the number of people in your group. Walk-ins will be welcomed only if space is available. Tasting room capacity: We will accommodate up to 6 people per group (including designated drivers and children) and can hold a maximum of 20 persons indoors.

We will be conducting a vertical flight and compare the 2018, 2017, 2016, and 2015. Me and a good friend of mine decided to visit some local wineries, Bet the farm Winery being our first stop. The tasting went well and our server was delightful. There were 2 other people in the building (I’m guessing the owners or staff), who didn’t introduce themselves, but went on and on about my outfit and made comments that really made me question us human beings. It was a cold day with about an inch of snow on the ground, I made a risky decision to wear ripped jeans with flat shoes that were exposing the top of my feet. They said things like “ you need to get some boots like your friend”

Nancy and Kit are very hospitable owners and truly care about their customers. The tasting room is new and very clean. They pay attention to the small details. Indoor and outdoor space is available.Outdoor games available for use by customers. Pretty views! Can't rave enough about the quality of their wines. We visited several other vineyards/ wineries over the weekend and Bet the farm was at the top of our list. Take the time to stop by for a wine tasting, you will be glad that you did. Thanks again for welcoming us to your lovely vineyard.

This was easily the most memorable place we visited in finger lakes. Nancy and Kit were so welcoming and walked us through the story and theories behind the wines they make. My husband and I (and our 3 year old, Hannah Banana) had a lovely visit to Bet the Farm Winery in July. The founder was actually the one that did the tasting with us and the whole experience was really special. She really took her time going over the wines and our kiddo enjoyed the juice. Great selection of drier wines, both white and red, such a fan of the Cayuga White! The views were breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back and visit! Thanks again for the great tasting!

Did a wine tasting here and the wines were delicious and the space was great. Im only giving 3 stars bc our experience was subpar at best. The woman working behind the bar didn't even acknowledge us at all when we stepped up to the bar. We had to ask for a menu and had to ask to be served my first wine after she walked past me 3 times. She poured my selection and walked away. No description of the wine, no explanation at all of it. The service experience alone made me leave after the tasting, not enjoy the scenery, and purchase no wine. I went to 5 different wineries that day and this was the worst

Nancy and Kit continue to impress with not only their fantastic wines, but also with their warm, down to earth hospitality and a beautiful vineyard setting. Located only a short drive from Ithaca, on the West side of gorgeous Cayuga Lake in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and book a tasting today! We were glad we stopped. Not right on the water and from the outside didn't seem to have the typical winery look (more of a working winery vibe). However once inside, it was pretty nice.
We were greeted when we arrived and found out they were actually not open (stopped on a Tuesday). However, they let us come in anyways and enjoy samplings (thank you!).
When you enter from the lot, please note that you actually go around to the rear (vineyard side, not road side). There is a door and once inside, there is a tasting bar and unique/different tables and seating. More limited but friendly staff

Such a wonderful experience. Look simple but it is such a beautiful place. We had a great time tasting the wines and talking about other touristic options around the city. We really liked the white wines, so we even got a bottle for ourselves! I wish I could just go back to enjoy the chairs outside and the great view.
