We started our Jewelry store in Spring of 1985, located at 941 Main Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts. At that time we were in 500 Square feet of space and doing in-house repair work such as soldering gold and silver jewelry and other related services. In spring of 1996 we moved our shop to 10 Albion Street where we are now located in a 1500 square foot store.
We can repair broken or chipped stones, diamonds, gemstones, etc. Remount your stones in new mountings of 14K, 18K or platinum. We have the largest selection of Mother's and Family rings around - over 100 to choose from. We buy and sell fine diamonds, all shapes and sizes. At Wakefield Jewelers we handle most jewelry, watch and clock service, sales and appraisals for insurance.
You will learn how to use a standard 10x Jeweler's loupe (eye magnifier) to examine our select stones. We will go over diamond quality information such as the "Four C's": Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat Weight" Before you purchase your diamond you will be confident and comfortable with your decision and we will supply an insurance apprasial for no extra charge with every diamond sale.
We are proud to offer you the Belair Watch Collection, fine Swiss watches assembled in America with our store name "Wakefield Jewelers" on the dial or without. Additionally available upon request various Rolex Ladies and Gents watches. We have vintage solid 14K as well as Gold-filled, and Silver pocket and wrist watches - all in good running condition also many other estate watches to choose from.

I came in to buy a diamond ring - Understated yet w brilliance & stunning!
~ a holiday gift, an extremely generous giftcard given to me by a client i had helped start a business in the 80's on a business trip to South Africa where they have some of the world's most exquisite diamonds!
So i wander into this little shop in a suburb of Boston.
The owner came at me with all the typical faux warmth that salespeople do.
I'm very careful where i do business and spend my money.
I decided to show him a cz i had on my ring finger and tell him i was looking to sell it & acted surprised when he said it
