I'm Richard Berberian, owner of Elyse Jewelers, a custom, personal Jeweler providing world-class design and craftsmanship to its clients. I work by appointment at our jewelry showroom in Reading, MA, or via Skype, FaceTime or Zoom with clients around the world. We chose Elyse jewelers for my husband's wedding band. We enjoyed our experience of shopping with Richard, however when I went to pick up the ring it was another story. Upon receiving the ring, I noticed it was not the one I ordered, as it had a completely different finish. I mentioned this to Richard, who completely gaslighted me and told me that was what I ordered and the weird hammered finish would "fade over time" into the brushed metal I had actually ordered. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Elyse Fine Jewelers. My fiance brought my grandmother's diamond to Richard to reset into a new ring. When you have a family stone, you want to work with a jeweler you trust, and Richard was exactly that. Not only he take care of my grandmother's diamond through his work as a jeweler and reset the diamond into an absolutely beautiful setting, he also encouraged my fiance to get the stone certified (which made my mother extremely happy!). Richard and his wife Christine run a fantastic business! My fiancé went to them for my engagement ring and he says they were enormously helpful. Everything about my experience with Elyse Jewelers was exceptional. I called them about a month out from my wedding when it was impossible to visit my previous jeweler. Can't recommend Richard and this family-run business enough. My wife and I got our wedding bands custom-made with Richard and couldn't have been happier with the result. He's as talented and artistic a gemologist as they come, which is hugely important when you're talking about jewelry you're going to wear for the rest of your life. My fiance bought my engagement ring here and had a great experience (after a not so great experience at a big chain jewelers which resulted in him returning the first ring he purchased).
