River Ranch is an elegant home with a unique combination of Rustic Ranch and Adirondack Decor that sleeps 12 with 6 bedrooms & 4.5 baths. Two separate bedroom wings make the house ideal for two families. The property is situated on 300 acres, and the Ranch is highlighted with fine antique furniture, and two majestic stone fireplaces.

River Ranch is a PRIVATE vacation rental on 300 acres. It is one house and it allows for up to 12 renters max. Like many private estates in Lake Placid, River Ranch no longer hosts wedding and events. There are a number of reasons why, but the new vacation rental law and fines for noise after 9pm are the leading factors.
River Ranch is strict about no trespassers and has many no trespassing signs that boarder their land that starts at the beginning of the Loj Road and run 1/4 mile down the road.

We rented the River Ranch for the week of our wedding not only to stay there with family but also as our reception venue. The house is amazing - the bridal party got ready on the main level and the guys got ready downstairs. We had a bunch of our photos done there before the ceremony and then came back for the reception on another section of the gorgeous property! If you're looking for an amazing place to have a tented wedding, this is the place! The views are to die for!
