Great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely an updated place to go to. We had a 1 bedroom unit in this place and a regular hotel room at another establishment. Residences has a nice kitchen and sitting area - which allowed us all a place to hang out in the evenings. That place to 'hang out' really helped to make the overall trip relaxing and fun!

Great experience. First off, the room was beautiful and very very clean which we appreciated. Staff were friendly at the boutique for check-in/check-out. Full kitchen with pots/pans/cups/cutlery/dishwasher/oven/microwave/coffeepot/full fridge was a great feature and saved us a chunk of change by dining in. Awesome location as well, minutes from everything, grocery and liquor store literally across the street and Lake Placid minutes away. Having a fire pit was also an amazing addition. Cons: Beds were a little too firm / uncomfortable for me, rear parking area pavement needs some work. If I could

Not what we expected. Asked for early check in and got no response. Check in is a mile away from the site and we felt like we were bothering them when we called and stopped in to check in. In addition, plates and glasses were dirty when taken out of cabinets. No instructions for garbage as well. The place is spacious and met our needs, just felt like a hassle to get info or instructions.

Really friendly front desk at the Boutique hotel. Very helpful with ideas for the area. Rooms - awesome and clean. Great shower. Filtered water machine that was great to fill up water flasks, which was so helpful for all of our outdoor activities.

We had an excellent week at the Residences. It is in a great location close to town, with a grocery store right across the street. Chuck and Lisa do a great job managing the site, making it clean and comfortable and promptly responding to any requests. The kitchen is supplied with good quality cookware and utensils. The grills are well maintained with direct propane feeds. The free laundry room was great to have after long days of hiking and swimming. Our only suggestion for improvement is to invest in a higher quality bed.

Very impressed with The Lake Placid Inn Boutique Hotel. It just opened a few weeks ago. Stayed in the King Suite with loft - clean, comfortable and perfect for the night. Within walking distance to everything Lake Placid has to offer! Thank you John Garito for exceptional service at check in and for graciously addressing my mistake - you rock! We will be back!

Bed was unusually uncomfortable. Family of clog stomping monkeys jumping on and off their beds all day and night above us didn’t help.
Room was very clean and modern but had some curious features like a shower with no barrier on the floor that caused the entire bathroom floor to get wet.
Staff was very friendly but non responsive for over 24 hours when we asked for more towels and toilet paper. The answer, after 24 hours, was, look in the dresser drawer.
Over priced for a no frills motel style property.
When we had to cut our stay a day short they wouldn’t refund that last night, a Sunday

This place is a hidden gem. Located directly across from the Olympic Arena and right in the heart of Main Street. We stayed in one of the largest units. It was a two bedroom, king/double queen. The unit was huge. Plenty of room for the six of us. All basic necessities are included. Kitchen had the usual kitchen appliances and kitchenware. The place was extremely clean. We came during the winter so I cannot speak for the ac but if it's anything like the heating, it will be perfect. John, Chuck and Lisa were professional and very accommodating. They made us feel welcome and checked in with us

I rented the 4 bedroom unit, which had a total of 5 beds 2 pull- out couch and 2 roll away beds. Very clean, spacious and more than enough space for a big family.
My family and I had a very wonderful time here .
This property also have 2 outdoor Grills with a very large fire pit with 11 chairs.
Very convenient as well, the supermarket is across the street, with a liquor store.
Must visit here and I'm definitely going back.

We just came back from a 5 night stay (2 bedroom deluxe unit) and have nothing but the highest praise to offer for the property and the staff! Chuck and Lisa are the sweetest people - super friendly and ready to help you with anything you might need! The property is newly renovated and is GORGEOUS. Finishings are very high quality with great attention to detail, and the general vibe is "modern rustic". My fiance and I had a great experience here at Lake Placid Inn. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was very clean, modern, and perfect for our weekend stay. It's within walking distance to a grocery store and a convenience store (if you plan on doing any cooking) and you could certainly walk down to Main St as well (we didn't walk as it was just so cold). Self check-in was so easy, and the entire stay was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Lake Placid in the future!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! We stayed in the one bedroom deluxe room (suite 7) and had no complaints. The inn is very close to town but kind of on the outskirts so its pretty quiet. The suite itself was super clean and had all the essentials that you need. The kitchen comes stocked with pots, pans, cups, plates, silverware, bottle opener etc. The linens were extremely soft. The cabin has a rustic cabin like feel which we loved. We are already planning our next trip up and we will definitely be staying here again.

Very nicely renovated apartment for 8 of us (4 adults & 4 children). Just 2 minute drive to the village and right across the street from a shopping center. Plus, you can't beat the price! My only complaint is that the cleaning lady was upset and rude about the late checkout. Even when I showed her the emails proving that the manager said it was ok, she kept going on about how she had so much work to do.

The house here is large and modern, perfect for our adult family vacation. I doubt you'll find a better deal elsewhere for large groups. The only thing I didn't like was that the house is very close to a somewhat busy road, so it's not the quietest location (especially the living room and one of the bedrooms on the road side of the house). Luckily the traffic dies down a lot at night, but if you really need a quiet place I'd look elsewhere.
