Bruno and I want to thank everyone who has supported us, our staff, and The Landing Love Project over the past year. It has been one of the most challenging, but most rewarding years of our lives. Our move to Mariners Landing has secured growth of our brand, security, and opportunities for our amazing team and most importantly a supportive home for The Landing Love Project.
Thank you Waller and Tom for welcoming us into the family and for your vision to put SML on the national stage through the new Mariners Landing. Just a quick update on The Landing Love Project. Many have asked if we plan to continue this project as we have now moved to Mariners Landing.

While the family kitchen is where Bruno's love of cooking was born, it was not until much later in life - at the age of 31 - that he acted on the passion and enrolled at L'Academie de Cuisine outside Washington, DC. "I was a late bloomer, " said Bruno, who co-owns The Landing Restaurant with his wife Tiffany.

I saw the reviews, but remained skeptical. I came out of it with a great meal and wonderful server. Sat outside which had some challenges to keep the sun out of our faces with spinning umbrellas. The waiter was great, she had good suggestions that the family loved. The ceviche was delicious as was the Sea Bass. Kids couldn't stop raving about the meatballs. The Kentucky mule was perfect. I would definitely recommend. And enjoy the funny conversations from the residential balconies above.

We had dinner at The Landing last night, July 2, 2021, and it was the third time dining there, it is consistently excellent. Our meal was EXCEPTIONAL! The quality and freshness of everything was outstanding. The varied menu and presentation of dishes is first class! The staff were very efficient and engaging. The best restaurant at Smith Mountain Lake and even better now that they are located at Mariner’s Landing on the east side of the lake in Huddleston. Thank you to the chefs and staff for making The Landing a top quality dining experience!!!

The Landing is absolutely hands down the best food on the lake! Bruno's creativity is a refreshing delight for your taste buds. The staff and service are on point and the ambiance is perfect. According to my husband.... the scene will be complete upon the return of the ever popular jambalaya dish. He can't wait to see it back on the menu soon. Fergie took great care of us and she makes delicious drinks! Check out Bottles and Bites up the hill it too is fabulous!

A great restaurant in Mariner's Landing! We ordered takeout and had a lovely meal overlooking the lake.
To celebrate being by water, I got the Classic Peruvian Ceviche and the Charred Octopus. I loved the smoke and the mouthfeel of the tender yet meaty octopus. The ceviche was plentiful with a medley of red onion, red bell pepper and celery as well as shrimp.
The best bite was the Roasted Red Beets, which I shared with le hubby. The red and yellow beets were colorful and earthy, served with delicious and crunchy roasted garlic pistachios. I absolutely loved the caramelized burrata that

We were visiting by boat for our 20th wedding anniversary. The delivery to boat service was excellent. The food was amazing. The drunken noodles dish was delicious but my favorite was the caprese salad. When they heard it was our 20th anniversary they surprised us with an amazing dessert. I highly recommend this great restaurant.

My wife and I decided to order in while staying at Bernard's landing. The landing offered us a wonderful experience even though COVID-19 didn't allow us to dine in. The food was absolutely worth the price. I would have to say this is probably the best restaurant on Smith mountain lake. 10/10 would recommend someone to dine here.

The Landing Restaurant is HANDS DOWN the best dining experience at Smith Mountain Lake. Chef Bruno has done a fantastic job at keeping this menu exciting and diverse. From quality of ingredients, presentation, and polite and helpful staff there is no question why this restaurant has been so successful and carries such high regard. Our server Barbra was an absolute delight, clearly a server with experience in quality dining and cares for customer experience. We will be returning time and time again. Well done.

I give it 3 stars- Bruno's Salad excellent. Ahi Tuna over priced for the number of pieces you get. Don't order the egg rolls- mostly filled with potatoes.
Husband had Jambalya
, he liked the taste but for $26.00 , not sure we will come back again. Best thing to get there is the Steak or
Chilean sea bass and Split it for the price.

My husband tried to explain to his French students the difference between going somewhere to eat and going somewhere to dine. This is a restaurant where you dine. Fabulous experience. The atmosphere is perfect with views of the lake and intimate chic setting. The food is so delicious and sophisticated. Everything we ate was a work of art and danced on my taste buds. My only regret was not taking pictures of each course. The service was superb. Our waitress was so attentive to our needs. They don't rush you in and out. Such a relaxed atmosphere where you can vist and enjoy your company. This is

Get the tomato soup dumplings, they're AMAZING! Everything that we ordered was amazing and the service was great. The berry lemonade came in a mason jar and was served with a paper straw (A+ for environmentalism!) and came in both alcoholic and non alcoholic options. They were accommodating of our large party (9 people) and still seated us quickly even though we came 20 minutes early. Portions were appropriate however a little pricey. There was a fun piano bar that we were seated at while they got our table ready that started our night off great! Love this place and would recommend.

Amazing! One of the more upscale establishments in this part of SML, The Landing does not disappoint. Unassuming from outside, the interior is modern and upscale. Our server, Barbara, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, explaining what local farms had provided the ingredients for each dish. We started with the lobster and avocado salad, which had five large chunks of buttery lobster accompanied by avocado and grapefruit slices. My hubby had the jambalaya which, although unconventionally served with macaroni instead of rice, had heaps of jumbo shrimp, chicken, and andouille sausage bathed

While vacationing at SML, we boated over for dinner at The Landing. There aren't many good restaurants in the area but this is one of them. We ate on the deck but the bar area looked quite inviting too.
The service was excellent, the food very nice and we just had an all around excellent experience. For apps we shared the fried oysters, the caviar chicken wings, tuna tartar and the soup dumplings. Loved them all.
For entrees I had the Lomo saltado which was not the typical Peruvian dish but an interesting twist. Others in my posse had the sea bass, the fried duck, jambalaya,

I had a very nice dinner here last Wednesday night. It was DEAD - I think there were 2-3 people in the bar when we dined here but we sat in the dining room alone and had dinner after a long drive to Bernard's for my birthday weekend.
We were promptly greeted by our waitress who was a friendly older lady dressed smartly. She was proficient and prompt with everything we asked her for and she was affable throughout the course of our meal.
After ordering drinks (water) - we were brought fresh bread with some seriously frozen butter, and a small little appetizer bite of a potato with some
