Your J. Kent Staffing Manager will give you a New Hire Orientation before you start your first assignment with us.
Your J Kent Employment is At-Will, which means that, in the absolute discretion either of J. Kent or yourself, your eligibility to be considered for or to receive any Employment Opportunity or your J. Kent Employment may be terminated by you or J. Kent for any reason, with or without cause, at any time, with or without prior notice ("At-Will Status").
The J. Kent Staffing Manager who hires you for your assignment will provide you with the following information:. Client company information - company name, address, phone, website, description of the company's product/services, directions, parking instructions. Client contact information - the name and title of who to ask for when you arrive, who you report to/work for (Client Supervisor), and who is authorized to approve your Online Timesheet.

I've been working with J. Kent Staffing for about 5 months now, and have enjoyed the experience thoroughly. I arrived in the first week of October to the Denver area and had employment by the second week. The agents there worked at impressive speed to get me hired, and was a fantastic support throughout my entire assignment. I was able to get hired permanently, so while the time with J Kent is ending, I want to still highly recommend their work and services, as I'll be doing the same for my peers. As a recent graduate I set out on the job search with high hopes. After a few weeks on the search, without much hope for a fitting position, I began to worry that I wasn't going to find a position that I truly wanted and aligned with my needs. I worked here for about a year, and it was great! The staff are excellent, and you really feel like your team is a cut above the rest when doing jobs. Unfortunately, I didn't get many offers for work since I was too far from Denver, but the jobs I did get were great, and I even got to work as a researcher on one job! I moved to Colorado in January following a lengthy Coronavirus-related furlough in Hawaii. I had worked with a staffing agency once before, so I contacted a handful in the Denver area. J Kent Staffing is wonderful! I set out in search of an entry level accounting job. I had very little experience so I applied to an Office Admin job that had some accounting support attached to it. Kara reached out to me and we set up a video interview rather quickly. They are clearly on top of their applications and are quick with response. Not recommended. After filling out their applications and giving all of my personal information I can tell you that six months later they never even followed up. The person I spoke to was Lauren who I submitted everything to and created new resume this went on for months and months. As you read through the reviews noticed how many different peoples names help those in need of employment. I take it very seriously when I give information to an out sourced entity. Be warned they were quick to take my information but never even got me any connections. I do not recommend them at all and they better

After getting laid off in August, I have signed on with many staffing agencies, and J.Kent was the only one to get me work. Andrew is in contact with me regularly about work opportunities. Usually the pay is not very high, but it is semi-regular work and is helping to keep me afloat in this difficult time. I would recommend J. Kent to anyone in Denver looking for temp opportunities.

Giant nope. Met with Karen, apparently the VP, and after reviewing my resume she enthusiastically said I should have no problem finding the type of jobs I wanted at the salary I wanted. After almost 8 months nothing.... and the only opportunities I was offered from J.Kent were almost half of my salary expectations or daily jobs like bag checking at a concert. I have called and emailed multiple times with no response. I wish temp agencies in Denver actually fought for people looking for jobs but they are just looking out for the companies and themselves. They just want to people to take jobs for

My experience at J. Kent Staffing has been nothing but positive. The staff are professional and extremely helpful in getting to know you and in looking for positions that fit each person's unique interests and skills. I submitted their online application on a Tuesday morning and by noon that same day, Karen had contacted me for an interview the following day. I ended up with a position at the VA, with whom J. I did an app online but didn't hear from anyone for a week. i finally responded to a posting they sent me an email about. i believe her name was tara. i went to their office and spoke to tara about what i was looking for and a couple days later went on an interview. it didn't pan out and i haven't heard from anyone since.

I just completed my first work assignment from J Kent Staffing. I was referred to them by a friend who had a positive experience. I'm new to the area and have applied to other staffing agencies, but Bailey Toland at this firm got back to me within a week, and within a few days offered me a temporary assignment.
