Spectrum Dermatology is home to top notch medical professionals with a variety of expertise and training in the field of dermatology. Board certified in Dermatology and fellowship-trained in Mohs skin cancer surgery, Dr. Nancy Kim is a former Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Julie Jacobs is a board-certified dermatologist, providing care for patients in the Phoenix area for over 10 years. Dr. Jacobs received her undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in Spanish from the University of San Diego, graduating magna cum laude. She earned her medical degree with honors from Touro University California.
Dr. Brooke Grant Jeffy is a board certified dermatologist, practicing in the Phoenix area since 2012. Dr. Jeffy completed her residency training at the University of Louisville. There she completed two years of training in pathology and a preliminary year in internal medicine before starting her training in dermatology, which she completed in 2011.

Let me start with compliments to the entire staff for their professionalism and warmth. This was my second Mohs procedure with Dr Thosani. All my concerns were addressed completely and thoroughly. I was very comfortable and confident I was with the right physician. Once the procedures were completed, the incisions were sutured by Dr Stutman. These are truly gifted physicians. Great skills + human kindness = an A+ team. I highly recommend these physicians.

It is unfortunate that Dr Rubenzik is leaving as she is the only competent and customer service orientated person in the practice. From the front desk who never looked up and just shoved 3 papers in front of me to Dr. R assistant who had no interest in understanding my issues to and in particular the scheduler who did not make contact with me and said there no dermatologist to see me anymore. Needless to say, the practice is called Spectrum Dermatology but without Dermatologists, I would change the name

Dr Rubenzik is such a skilled dermatologist. She is also sweet, kind and compassionate. The waiting room seemed full yet the office abs her staff are super prompt and efficient. I needed a skin biopsy and was scared. She and her assistant Kaitlin make a great team. They made sure I didn’t feel a thing and distracted me to keep me comfortable! I would follow Dr Rubenzik to the end of the earth for her care!

This practice offered exceptional service in every regard: scheduling, intake, examination, biopsy, Surgical scheduling, surgery prep, procedure and wound treatment protocol:
— Primary first visit yielded a painless numbing and tissue removal of suspicious area;
—Mohs surgical process thoroughly explained;
—The initial biopsy and report of lab work came back sooner than anticipated;
—the scheduling agent called within an hour of the lab results being conveyed to Patient;
— Surgery was scheduled to accommodate Pt’s early January commitment, backing up the two-week required ‘wait

This was my first visit with Dr Wald for my annual skin check. She was friendly, very thorough, explained everything and most importantly, did not rush. I left feeling confident I had a thorough skin check and all my questions were answered. Her assistant was awesome too. I’ve been to several other dermatologists in Scottsdale and always felt rushed. I am so glad I found Spectrum Dermatology and Dr Wald.

Dr. Rubenzik and her assistant were absolutely fantastic! Thorough screening, clear explanations, took biopsies same-day, high levels of both care and competence. I have found my lifelong dermatologist! Outstanding.
Also, patients waited only a very short time before being called back, so it’s clear that this practice is well-run and right on time. I had a delay myself due to a one-off systems error, but when I raised it with front desk staff I was called back immediately and things proceeded quickly from there. No harm done. :)
