Services
A Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed health professional who practices medicine under the supervision of a physician. PA's undergo intensive education enabling them to provide primary and specialty care ranging from interviews and physical exams to diagnostic tests, procedures, and prescribing medical treatments.
New Patients: Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time to register at the front desk. Established Patients: Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to update paperwork. We do our best to see you in a timely manner. Therefore, if you are more than 10 minutes late, we reserve the right to reschedule you for later in the clinic session or another day.
As a patient of East Valley Dermatology Center and Valley Skin Cancer Surgery, you are able to obtain access to your medical information related to your visits. The patient portal facilitates better communication between you and your provider. It allows you to conveniently access certain information from the comfort and privacy of your home or office.
We are determined to make your experience with your procedure as best we can by providing as much information to prepare you before and after. Patch Testing may be recommended once you have been evaluated by your Dermatologist. Patch testing evaluates one's HYPERSENSITIVITY TYPE 4 reaction to allergens in ones environment. This is different from an Allergist testing for HYPERSENSITIVITY TYPE 1 allergies. One CANNOT have taken Prednisone for < 72 hours prior to Day 1, unless the dose is 10mg or less daily.

I’ve been been a patient at this facility for almost 20 years they originally found my first cancer by performing a biopsy of a mole that had turned cancerous from there I went on a accelerated verification of my skin every three months it’s been good to verify the progress of my skin as it results as the results in my diagnosis process. I would recommend this place to anyone concerned about skin cancer and what to do about it.

As always, Dr Ruth Ireland has been very professional and friendly while taking care of my dermatological needs. She identifies any spots I have on my skin and treats them accordingly which alleviates any concerns I may have being a 75 yr old Irishman living in AZ. I would highly recommend her for anyone who needs care for their skin living in AZ

The office is clean. The entire check in process was touchless (I am an existing patient and I was able to update my forms online prior to the appointment). Even the entrance door was open already and everyone was wearing masks. Everyone was friendly as always. Dr. Michelle Jeffries was very kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and explained things very well. I recommend this dermatology office. Thank you.

I was so impressed with East Valley Dermatology Center when I visited yesterday for a diagnosis of a skin condition. They are so efficient, and knowledgeable, as well as courteous, and work together kindly as a team. I was thankful I was able to get a next day appointment due to a cancellation. The wait time was very short before going to an exam room. The P.A. immediately could diagnose my condition and I was impressed with the thoroughness yet quickness of the whole body skin check, and that my past visits were readily available for comparisons. I left feeling that patients here are in very good
