Services
At Saviours Salon, we believe the salon visit is not only a means to make you look and feel fabulous, but also serves as a haven away from your busy life. Creating an approachable, laid back, cozy space is very important to us, as a salon should be a place where a person can "let their hair down". We provide a comfortable, inviting, "living room lounge" vibe - with no pretense or attitude - in the heart of the Mission district, San Francisco.
Walk-in appointments are accepted on a daily basis, however, to guarantee preferred time and availability, reservations are suggested. We ask that you arrive five minutes prior to your scheduled visit. Saviours Salon makes every effort to ensure your experience with us is an enjoyable one. We firmly believe in the value of your time and make a conscious effort to stick to our schedule.

I have been going here for many years for color and cuts and am never disappointed!! Jody and Deb (and frankly everyone) are just so fun, professional and kind. My teen has been coming to Jody her whole life for cuts, color and care. Love the ladies here!! They will make you feel like the beauty you are.

Love this salon, the interior is sleek and beautiful and I love listening to vinyl while getting my hair done.
I've been a loyal customer of Faith's for years. She does an amazing job coloring and always manages to give me a cut that gives my hair body and nicely frames my face despite it very long and fine. We've tried various styles over the years and each time she carefully listens to what I want and always delivers.
Every person I've seen walking out of this place has left with cute hair and big smiles.

I came to Saviours to donate my hair, which is a pretty dramatic hair cut so I was a bit scared. Faith sat with me and went through some reference pictures to get a good idea of what I was looking for, and she totally nailed it. Faith was so friendly during the appointment and I left so happy with my new hair.

I first started seeing Deb in 2009, when I lived right around the corner in the Mission and worked long hours so needed someone close and open late. I stopped seeing her in 2011 when I changed neighborhoods, but came crawling back in 2018 after getting sick of getting a different haircut every time (from the same person) at the local hipster barber shop. Deb welcomed me back with open arms and it was like I never left.

I've got difficult hair - it usually looks thin, flat, and fuzzy for most of my life. However, Deb has taught me how to take better care of my hair, she has cut it with more care and attention than any of my previous stylists, and she has shown me what products actually make a difference and how minor changes to my styling methods can actually help me reach my goals while still only spending 5-10 minutes each morning on my hair. When I moved to the city I looked and looked and looked for the best salon for me. I am very picky about my hair.
I did not care for the fancy, hipster over expensive places that can only do a Kardashian look. I was looking for a place where the owner and stylist loves her clients, pampers them, respects their hair style (we don't get out of this salon all looking alike), uses hair-friendly products and knows her job.
Well...I found Saviours Salon. And I have NEVER CHANGED. I have been coming for 2 years now and do not dare move on me.
Plus: Amazing music! Great atmosphere!

I admit, I'm picky about my hair. Grey can NEVER show, it must be cute even with my limited ability to style it and I get bored easily and need something new on a regular basis. Finding someone to make me love my hair isn't easy. But now I have Deb!

I've been getting my hair cut and colored by Deb at Saviours Salon for about 4 years (and can't believe I haven't written a review until now)! I have been very happy with my experiences here.
Deb is skilled and professional. I get my hair colored (to cover up my grays) here every 6 weeks, and get a color/cut combo done every 12 weeks. I have dark hair, and have found that the color lasts and looks good. My hair is naturally wavy, and on top of that, I like to spend as little time as possible on my hair - Deb has done a great job of giving me haircuts that look attractive while

I'm having a love affair with my hair! Yesterday Faith Allen cut my hair. Since then I did photo shoot, went grocery shopping, met with a client, and slept. After all of that I woke up to AH-MAZING hair! My wavy-curly hair can be temperamental.. cut it wrong and it goes limp, or frizzy, or likes to impersonate some 80's big hair band. So I'm definitely cautious when I go to a new stylist. It took several recommendations about Faith for me to make an appointment. And now I'm so happy I did... she does pure magic! Saviours is the best! I've been getting my hair done by Christina for 8 years. I followed her to Saviours from a previous salon. She was recommended to be my a friend when I moved back to the city, and I've recommended multiple friends to her; pretty much our whole social circle gets our hair done here! She's amazing. I feel really guilty writing this but I think I'm happier with new hairdresser Deb. Due to circumstances my old hairdresser of 8 years moved to the East Bay. I was continuing to BART over there just to get my haircut but knew it wasn't a long term solution. A friend of mine recommended Deb at Saviours Salon - a convenient 10 min walk from my apt.
