Jillian, mom to Casey (4) and Junior (6) and wife to my high school sweetheart, Bruce. My passion for photography began at a young age, where I always had a camera in hand, whether it be just for fun with friends or taking pictures of my nephews. These days, my passion is helping families document their stories.
My lifestyle family session centers around taking your family on an adventure and prompting a story to capture your family's spirit. My subtle direction of "look at your children" or "look at your spouse", instead of the camera is as good as a magic glow filter. In my opinion, the perfect session is one where we have 2 hours together to use your home as well as a destination your family enjoys, to create beautiful memories with your family.

I can’t say enough good things about Jillian of Jillian Marie Photography. She was professional, sweet and very responsive during the booking process. In this day and age flexibility is SO KEY for most of us and she truly puts her clients first in that regard. This was also our first shoot with live animals so I was so relieved when my little was told exactly what to do both before and during the session. It was a great experience and we can’t wait for our upcoming shoot for the holidays. There are a ton of photographers to choose from but if you are in the Greater New Orleans area, I highly

Jillian did an anazing job with my professional photos. she made me feel comfortable and brought a level of detail to framing shots that i really appreciated. she even rolled with the punches as my toddler was home when we did the shoot and she was so kind and creative figuring out ways to incorporate him in ti the pictures. i’d definitely hire Jillian again!

Jillian is such a talented and friendly photographer. I was overwhelmed with trying to decide where to do a family photography session and based on what types of photos as well as the personalities of my boys, Jillian recommended the perfect spots. She was so warm and friendly and put the whole family at ease. The hardest part of the session was selecting the photos as she did such an amazing job. She even helped walk me through that by discussing what I liked best about the photos. I look forward to working with Jillian again.

Jillian did an amazing job with our newborn photos. She made what could have been a stressful experience (given the unpredictability of newborns) into a peaceful and happy few hours. She made sure to get every shot we wanted and gave great direction. We were so pleased with the final product and will definitely be using her again!
