This review is based on multiple visits I've had over the course of 6 months, and I only have good things to say about U&I Spa and Fanuza. I found the place through Groupon, purchased a voucher for laser hair removal and immediately began to see results after the first appointment. (I've been to 3 other LHR spas in NYC prior and was never fully satisfied.)
Fanuza takes time to hear out your concerns and thoroughly explains the procedure as you go along. She never rushes during the appointment time nor pushes you to buy other products. But the results are convincing enough to have

After I got my eyelash perm & keratine treatment done by Fanuza, she's the only beautician I go to where I can confidently say that she knows how to take care & meet customer's needs. Fanuza is a very caring and ery professional Artist of eyebrows
She is sweet and very clean. I went for consultation, then last year I got myy eyebrows done and I can't be more happy.
I went 6 later for touch up
And today I am going for another touch up

Umm...I wanted to fall asleep so bad during the whole experience lol! That's how comfortable I was. I'm from the west coast and when I'm in town, I will definitely be returning.
As far as the service itself - I got a groupon deal for a lash lift. She showed me my options and I couldn't be happier. Inviting and clean atmosphere. Professional and thorough women (who happen to be gorgeous!!).

I decided to purchase one big area and one small area through Groupon. I had laser done before at a different place in NY and wanted to try another.
The place is clean, cozy but not small.
The technician was on time and took me in right away. She was very nice and I felt comfortable which is important to me. Since I had laser done before I knew what to expect and the pain level.
I was nicely surprised when she took her time and treated the areas more carefully as opposed to the other spa.
I think overall she was very professional and I am very please with the service.

To update: I did my retouch session, and attached are pictures 9 days post session. I LOVE my eyebrows!
I also got a first round of laser hair removal for my underarms. It got a little hot, but doesn't hurt at all I'll definitely be back to finish up my underarms.
I highly recommend Fanuza for your microblading and laser hair removal needs!

Had my third session of laser hair removal with Fanuza today. I love her cozy and clean place with perfect location in the heart of New York City.
Fanuza is amazing! She makes you feel like an old friend from the second you meet her.
She is extremely professional and makes sure you get the excelent treatment. She is a perfectionist . You will never leave her place disappointed.
My results are outstanding. I'm treating my lower leg and lower arm area. After 3 session I can see noticeable difference, my hair thinning out and slowing growth.
She is using Alma XL machine for hair removal

Fanuza is incredible!. I absolutely loved my Microblading results. She takes time with you to make sure everything is perfect. She is also very gentle and there is not pain during the Microblading procedure. Thank you so much for making my eyebrows beautiful. I cannot wait to go back to her relaxing spa. Highly recommended.
