More than a century later, Lily Lake Resort is the seasonal destination for vacationing families and traveler's year-around. Our resort and lake feature the changes of the 4 seasons. We are located to the east of the New Munster Wildlife Area - a preserve that has over 1226 acres offering unlimited exploration throughout its state-protected wildlife habitat.
Lily Lake Resort offers casual dining and a full bar. Our restaurant features nightly service with some great specials. Stop for a cocktail. Relax with a late snack or with a great meal before you head out to our outdoor area for a leisurely lounge or swim. Our restaurant may be rented for special occasions or private events.
We host corporate parties, graduations, family picnics and more. Neighbors from Milwaukee and Chicago are frequent visitors. The experience was ok. Room was adequate but not great. One set of towels, shower curtain didn't appear to have been laundered in weeks, maybe months. Blinds on the exterior window were broken....could not raise or lower, carpet was dirty. The room needs a total, top to bottom, cleaning. Jill, who handled the reservation and check-in was friendly and helpful

We came with a party of 16 people to celebrate a birthday. Several of which were small children. The ten adults all ordered food and drinks and we brought juice and snacks with us for the kids. We sat outside on the picnic tables and were letting all the kiddos swim in the lake.. We were told we had to leave and couldn't have any food not purchased from the establishment, including the Birthday cake we brought. Jill at the bar was extremely rude and even called one lady in our party a b*tch. We would've spent several hundred dollars there with the nine that were dining

Ok so this is one of my favorite regular places to visit and share with friends and out of town visitors. Met Jill the owner about 5 years ago while shopping with my friend at Best Bargains in New Munster, (great place to shop for large quantities of food). Jill overheard us discussing a place for lunch and suggested we follow her to her place Lily Lake Resort. We have been coming here ever since. The bar/pub is right on Lily Lake, w outdoor dining on deck weather permitting or indoor. There are rooms to rent but need to be booked way way in advance. Food is awesome and daily specials are truly

One of my favorite spots! Doesn't matter if it's with my buddies on our motorcycles, or it's all of us with the kids! This place is a perfect getaway with everything you would want. The lake is awesome and the kids have a blast in it. I guess so do I cold beer great eats! The owner is also awesome! Thanks Jilly your place rocks. Everyone should give it a try.

Great drinks. Great burgers and appetizers. Never had bad food there in 5 visits. Prices mid range. Great live music. Overall pretty good. Have to order at bar. Sometimes it takes awhile to pay and you have to watch for your food to come up or no one brings it to you. Keep that in mind if you go. Parking is convenient. Beach is nice in summer. Volleyball for fun with outdoor tables and picnic tables facing the lake. Family friendly during the day.

This place rocks for fish fry! The Fried cod is super good with huge pieces. Their homemade potato pancakes were delicious! We had a party of 10 and Toni was so accommodating setting us up on the patio with our call ahead of time. The kids played on the swings, bumped around some volleyball, or could swim and enjoy the beach. Kelly was our server and absolutely rocked never missing a beat. She was friendly and our requests were never too much for her. She even scrubbed down the high chair for the baby. The sunset was gorgeous! Thanks Lily Lake for an incredible night for my family.

Love love love this place! Perfect place for a Sunday funday, with or without the kids. They have a full bar and food menu plus a nice patio out back. Volleyball, horseshoes, bags, the works! And my favorite part, awesome view of the lake and a private sandy beach you can relax and swim the day away! It's not a mucky bottom beach either, which I can not stand. Staff is friendly, drinks are cold, and the atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. If your looking for a county club feel, keep driving. This is not that place. Can't wait till this weather changes so we can spend more time here!

We just had drinks and curds but both were good. A really nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good juke box. I saw they have all u can eat crab legs on Thursdays - keeping this in mind when back in the area. Peeked into the dining room area and it's very warm and inviting! A great time had by all six in our party.

Great place to just chill and crash after a riding day(s) and to get some Lake life added to the trip. Great bar and service. Enjoyed a nice Bon fire before calling it in for the night.
Only issue during this trip was the water heater broke but that happens. It's a 10 room motel, so don't have the luxury of moving you to another room.
Nice clean spacious room and again, the staff are really nice.
