The whole Inn was cool with no change. It was the same with the pool. I was told bc people going in and out plus leaving the door open. That must mean it was happening 24/7. That didn't happen. I was never told they give you the towels for the pool when I asked about it .
The bed was comfy. The room was there only warm place in the Inn. The water for the shower didn't start to get close to hot after about 15-20 minutes. Great price but your get what you pay for.

When I first called they told me their weekly rate was 450 for two queen size beds. Upon arrival I was greeted by a rude old woman who told me that was only for one person to stay, which makes no sense bc its two queen size beds, and the 3 other people with me are kids. So she turned me away bc I said me and my 3 kids would be staying in the room. She was not nice about it at all. If you want to be treated with respect, I don't recommend going to this establishment.

The hotel seemed clean from their lobby, but once l entered the room l was over come by a strong musty odor. The linens were dreary looking, the bath towels were more like rags. There were also bugs in the rooms, the entire place needs to be fumigated. I don’t know who these people are that are giving it good reviews, stay away!!!

I have been staying here since December and it is a very clean and quiet place to come and stay. All the rooms are freshly painted by myself. The staff it's very pleasant. I would definitely recommend everybody stay here. Bring your friends there is a pool. There is also a breakfast bar that will hopefully be opening back up soon.

Overall, this hotel met my expectations. Its a no frills hotel, but a clean one. Here are my pros/cons. Gave it a 3, for overall hotel rating, but for its price range I would give it a 4 or 5.
Pros:
- Cheap! It was 100-150$ less than other hotels that were right in Lake Geneva
- Centrally located - 15 mins from downtown Lake Geneva and 10 mins from Fontana Beach
- Breakfast - nothing special but good pastries, cereal, coffee, juices, etc....
- Large rooms - our room was large with a couch, recliner, fridge, breakfast bar
- Bed - comfortable (see con for other details)
- Staff was friendly

Excellent value! While "out in the country," the Sky Motel was still only 5 minutes from Delavan Lake and 10 minutes from Lake Geneva (where rates were double what I paid). Rooms large, beds comfortable, bathroom fine, cleanliness and friendliness of owner/wife exemplary. I join other Yelp contributors in recommending this motel.

Great spot to stay for visiting the Lake Geneva area on a budget! Yes, it was dated, but it was clean! Which is the most important aspect when visiting a budget hotel such as this. Didn't get to check out the pool. Free continental breakfast was pretty standard - cereal, pastries, coffee, juice. Not much within walking distance, but that's ok given the price range.

I stayed here over the weekend for a convention in Lake Geneva. This is the best experience for the dollar that I've had at any hotel I've ever stayed in. It's a fantastic value. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is friendly. The rooms have fridges and microwaves. I have absolutely no complaints, and fully intend to stay here any time I need lodging in the area.

We walked out after 15 minutes spend there with fleas. Terrible place, luckly I left my pup and luggage in the car otherwise would've been a nightmare. It didn't take more then 5 min to get a bunch of fleas on the legs, I've flipped the bed cover and there was a dead flea on the pillow ....There were 3 of us that stormed out of the room in 5 min with fleas on the legs, got to the reception desk and put a flea on their desk ...the refund took longer then expected the credit card machine wasn't working properly and one of us had to wait.
