Even with an appointment you will be here all day. Very unorganized. And communication sucks. I tried to give them 3 Chances total, and everyone chance they have disappointed me. I will not be coming back.

Do not go to this place!!! The lady who did my toes told me I could get the same color on my toes as my nails. I get dip on my nails and gel on my toes. They did not have the same color. That was not the problem. The lady who was going to do my nails could not find a color to match. She asked me was I getting a full set. I said yes. She said well your just making it even harder on us why don't you just get gel then. I told her well don't worry about it since you don't want to do it. I go to tell my friend what happened and the lady who was supposed to do my nails comes explaining

Extremely rude. Staff had bad attitudes and were short with me the whole time. I will never go back to their nail salon again.

I love this place! There are lots of employees, so there is rarely any wait. They enforce social distancing, masks, provide hand sanitizer, and have installed plexiglass type barriers between employees and customers

For $28.00, (I paid $35.00 including a tip) get a quick pedi that looks great.

I went to Kelly here for 2+ years. She is literally the besttttt nail tech (and we know how hard it is to find a good one!) I called today to schedule an appointment while home for the holidays and was told that she's now in Atlanta. I live in Atlanta now and would looove to see her to get my nails done. If anyone could please help me find Kelly, it would be greatly appreciated lol

My nails turned out great and it was cheaper than anywhere else i've been (by $10-$15 or so). they were also good about spacing everyone 6ft apart. :)

I went to Model Nails for a quick pedicure. I live close and enjoy the convenience. The pedicure given by Tony started off fine. I picked a color but once it was on, I didn't like how it looked. I asked to change the color but was told it'd be an additional $10. I asked the nail tech to take it off completely, he informed me that would be $10 as well. This is absolutely ridiculous. I told him repeatedly that I was unsatisfied. He told me that he thought it looked nice. I've been coming here for years. Customer service is always hit or miss. I keep coming for the convenience but this

Great work! But aren't the nail technicians supposed to bring your belongings to you where you dry your nails? This place doesn't. Terrible customer service. I guess she was upset i didn't get gel!

Needed to get done up & my normal nailologist didn't have any openings so I went here. Mid day on a weekday was the move! It was not crowded at all! I got a deluxe pedicure from Tony who was amazing!! He took his time on my feet & was magical with the massage! I wish he would have told me gel polish was an extra $13, but I'm not really complaining!! I had to soak off my current set. My nailologist was Kim! She was patient & diligent while removing my nails! She gave me a new almond set with dip powder & did an amazing job. If you go, for sure ask for Tony & Kim!!

This place needs to be shut down, and I will be contacting the Alabama Board of Cosmetology to see what can be done. If you value the use of your hands, DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON.

On Saturday, 12/28, my fiance went to this salon for a manicure and pedicure. The woman who did his manicure scrubbed his fingers with the emery board until he bled, cut his nails down past the quick, and cut a huge gash out of his pinkie finger (see photos attached). When he was bleeding, she simply kept going.

I have visited this nail shop on about 8 different occasions over the past couple of years, and have experienced many nail techs in this shop. This nail shop is always pretty busy, and consistently seems to always have nail techs in a rush. My nails always look wonderful, but they definitely rush, and might accidentally file your skin. That's happened to me a few times. But I never have to wait, in fact, most times I visit this nail shop, it's because I know I don't have time to go and wait anywhere else. They have a lot of options for SNS. It's more expensive than most nail

I have been using this salon for about 6 months now. However, my last few experiences have been bad enough to send me elsewhere. I am not sure what fumes they use, but I have never once gotten sick in a nail salon until now. The last three times, I have had to leave because I felt so nauseous. This last time, I was trying to stick it out because I thought surely something is wrong with me. However, I asked the nail tech not to cut my real nail while removing tips. Not only did she cut my nails, but she cut them so deep I bled on two different fingers. I politely asked her to stop cutting my nails

Does not honor prices listed on their website. Children's pedicure is listed as $18 up for 12 & under; my child is 10 years old, turning 11 in 4 days. The owner said my daughter was big and would need to pay regular price. I advised "our" children develop faster than yours. We all are not petite!

On a positive note, the lady who did my pedi was very friendly!

Good customer service, nice interior, and a large selection of polishes and gels, but my nails were just...meh.

I usually enjoy my time at Model Nails. I live in Vestavia, so if I am in the area and visiting my parents and need my nails done, I go here. The facility is large and I never have to wait more than 20ish min. They usually do a good job. It's definitely the best I have found in the McCalla area.

My fiance is currently working in bessemer and I desperately needed my nails filled. I went it and the service was horrible. They don't speak good English and don't even try talking to you. She seemed to be in such a rush like I was an inconvenience. She was so rough using the files she left open gouges in 3 fingers. The paint was missing in areas and so see through that it really should only be used as a coat overlay. I was charged before they were done the job and asked for a partial refund but was DENIED! They kept pointing to the all sales final sign. Told me they could fix it...

The worst. I will never go back here. I came back because their site said that they do UV Gel Nails. When they don't. When I called the guy said that they do it. When I got there they don't do it and act like they don't know what it is. So I settled for the Pink Powder Fill in. Online the Pink Powder Fill In price is $25. I walked out paying $45 for a fill NO POLISH. NO DESIGN. JUST A FILL. I should have just kept looking for a nail salon in Birmingham that do what I done and done right. THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.
