Great bread, good pastry, cheap plastic bags for their bread and dough! I must not be the only one who thinks this cause there is a sign at the register saying $.20 for an extra bag! LETS GET SOME BETTER BAGS BREAD BOSS!

Ordered spinach pies, stromboli or what ever they are called....all bread!! Gross bread and dough. Does not even compare where I buy in Brown district in Providence. Spinach poorly seasoned as well! Over priced for all the dough!

Also ordered two Bismark pastries...this dough was also off and dry! Either old or just a poor recipe

Bought a few things at The Bread Boss- one of which was a huge round load of Italian bread. Absolutely delicious. Also bought a full calzone and pizza chips. Everything is absolutely delicious.

I literally think I am in love with this business! Is that weird? Whatever, carbs are my fav and these are delectable. Thanks to Yelp reviewers for suggesting this spot.

Located in a brick strip mall, on a corner, with a few spots in front and more to the side, the business is clearly marked! We were greeted as soon as we entered. There was a constant stream of customers throughout our visit with never more than 4 or 5 inside. I believe there was a sign outside asking to limit the number of guests inside. Please do check for that.

The interior is large with cases forming an 'L' shape

WOW!!!! This place is legit, so many pastry options it made my heat hurt (in a good way). I went here for my cheat meal and the value I got was awesome. I purchased 4 things: Frosted cinnamon roll, chocolate square, Russian tea cake and a piece of a coffee crumb cake. Everything came to $10.10. Each item was large and when I was handed the box, it was heavier than I thought.

Now they don't have prices in front of their pastries, which I guess is the common move now, but the cinnamon roll was the first thing I asked for. Once I was told the price, ($2.25), I knew everything there would be

What kind of bakery sells cold calzones and when you ask for it to be heated in the oven they say they don’t have one and can heat it in the microwave. Did they change owners because even the amount of meat in the calzones is disappointing.

I bought a chocolate strawberry shortcake for an event I was hosting..the cake was absolutely delicious and everyone loved it!!! The strawberry filling, fresh whipped cream was to die for!!! Not to mention the chocolate cake itself was moist...I’ve also had their lemon squares and they, too, are fresh and yummy!!!

Purchased a pumpkin for for Thanksgiving and it's was delicious. Everyone loved it. They had a huge selection of other items like calzones, spinach pies, and pizza. I can't wait to go back and try some new things. Everything was very clean and covid-19 conscious.

Purchased a pizza for a party we were going to. When the box was opened it was burnt all around the pizza! I was so embarrassed. The pastry was great, calzones had too much dough.

It took me over a year to finally get to experience the Bread Boss, heard wonderful things about there pastry. I finally got there this past Tuesday as I was heading to a friends party. I picked up half dozen of cup cakes and a special treat for myself. They looked amazing. To my surprise, everything I purchased was stale. I was highly disappointed and embarrassed. If the product was day old I should have been informed. My first and last trip!

I feel like I just discovered RI's best kept secret! This is by far the best bakery I have ever been to! The food was beyond exceptional, the staff that helped me was so polite and patient (since I did not know the name of anything), I am so pleased with this place. I have found my new go-to bakery!

This is a nice "older world" bakery. It's got a quaint family owned feel. They've recently moved from another location a few miles away.

They have lots of classic pastries such as cupcakes, danish, fig squares, pizza strips and their bread is out of this world. I tried their bread for the first time and I had to write a review because it was so fresh and moist, flavorful and the crust had just the right crunch without being overly hard or chewy. I would definitely recommend!

All the pastry is refrigerated, not only the cream products. Who wants Brownies, Danish, cupcakes etc cold! And so are their Calzones. Bread/rolls are good.

I have driven by so often and wanted to go in. I had heard good things but never managed to make it over. I'm glad I did!

The exterior could be more appealing, but lends to that old school Italian bakery feel. Inside, there is just enough room to walk in and look at all the counters, definitely not a place to sit and stay.

The selection is great. On Easter morning they had all their glass counters stuffed with sweetness of all kinds, a shelf of full fresh bread, some racks full of calzones... On a holiday meant for family members stuffing each other with food, this was commendable, especially

Was driving to an appointment in Rhode Island and saw this little shop on the way. Me made a note of it to stop by on the way back to Connecticut and I am so glad that I checked it out. I discovered an item that I guess is very popular called a pizza strip. Now I am addicted to these red pizza strips. They are so good! They are almost like a thin focaccia bread loaded with the a rich flavorful red sauce. And you eat them at room temperature. I bought extra and refrigerated them and they are great cold too.

The Bread Boss was able to accommodate my last-minute, giant order for red pizza strips after another well-known bakery in the area fulfilled my order with white pizza strips. White pizza strips, y'all. Why bother?

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the chocolate chip cookie I grabbed to soothe my nerves in the wake of the pizza strip debacle definitely hit the spot. I've tried their zeppole and other pastries on different occasions, and have always been pleased.

I'm updating the review, not to change the rating, but to add another important point. I showed up 15 minutes after they had closed, to my disappointment. The super sweet baker came outside and asked me what I was looking for; maybe they could still help. I wanted pizza, but they were out, so he GAVE me a loaf of bread. These people really know how to build their customer loyalty. I'm hooked and I'll proclaim their awesomeness from the rooftops!

The new name is hilarious. Formerly DiVozzi, this bakery is now run by a different italian family. I went in for the classic RI pizza strips which were solid. The sauce is tasty. The crust is a little on the thicker side (about 3/4 inch) which I like. If its too thin, then the strips are too crispy which I think is more difficult to deal with when eating room temperature pizza.

The selection of breads and pastries was fair. I bought some apple squares that were ::sad trombone:: though.

There is a counter you can stand at if you are inclined to eat there even though the place isn&apos

This bakery has quality food! We always get the fresh dough for homemade pizzas we make at home.
They have a very large selection of calzones small, large and pArty size. They have specialty pizza slices as well and - the broccoli rabe and sausage which they load up is simply delicious!
Their pizza chips are amazing- definitely worth the visit and what I usually go for! The staff is very friendly and even offered my lil man a free chocolate chip cookie, the small things like that stick and make a great impression. I will be back again and again. Prices are very reasonable. Try it out!!
