Woke up to a bed bug on the pillow. Told the owner at checkout to ask what it was. She squeezed it and popped it. Blood popped out of the bug and she confirmed “yep that’s a bed bug.” I was mortified and got refunded for my stay, but I had to throw out all my clothes. I stopped here as an emergency bc it was too cold to keep riding my motorcycle. Do not stay here under any circumstance

Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The price is great, the room was immaculate, the woman who greeted us and checked us in was so helpful. They even partner with neighboring restaurants and you get 10% off your bill if you show your room key! I thought it was a super cute place! We were just passing through and only stayed one night, but I would recommend!!

Overall a good place to rest your head from a long day of hiking. Very clean and the beds were comfortable and "amazing". Had a restroom door hing that came off and AC condensation issue that was addressed. Lots of places to eat just a walk from Fort Verde Suites.

This is an amazing place. I was a little nervous being a small hotel. Not sure what we were getting. Wow! Was my family and I shocked. We travel with my son and husband racing. We stay at many hotels. This hotel was much cheaper and so so clean. When you walked in it smelled so fresh, not air freshener of stale smoke. 3 layers of protection for bed bugs. Super clean sheets. Nice comfortable bed. Lots of space. I was surprised to find a kitchenette, minus a stove, with a full size refrigerator. I would totally recommend. I only wish they had other locations as well. 💙

My intention to reach Sedona for the day didn't work out. I had tried to make a same day reservation thru hotels.com. Using hotels.com was the worst mistake. Then they charged me double for one of the stays (not this hotel.) Never intend to use hotels.com ever again.

Anyway Ms B, the manager at Fort Verde Suites, was super kind. She was the one saved me. She definitely went out of her way to help and got me a room for the night. Thank you, Ms B. I regret knocking off one star due to too soft bed for my taste etc. But the room was exceptionally clean (i used Lysol wipes for the surfaces

One of the worst motel experiences I've ever had. Truly classless management. There lazy and extremely unprofessional. I used to rave about this spot. Not sure what happened, maybe the fact that under new management they've become extremely low rent one stop section 8 facility. Screaming children running past your bedroom in the early hours of the morning. Staff is lazy almost non existant, until they tack on extras for barely soiled face towels a day after you e checked out. Manager grabs your keys threw the door in his undies barely awake at 10 am. Forget the supposed continent breakfast

We spent a lovely evening at Fort Verde Suites. We called to say we were going to have a late check in and like the saying goes, they left the light on for us. Our suite was lit up and they left bottles of water for us. It was such a nice stay. The room was so clean and fresh smelling. When we got into bed to sleep, it was just like home. The bed were clean and fresh too. It truly was home away from home, THANK YOU!

Absolutely a charming place to stay. The suite we got was large and full of charm. The room was decorated with themes from the area.
We got a large kitchen with a full size refrigerator, a kitchenette area equipped with all kinds of plates, bowls, silverware, etc.
There is also a nice sitting area just outside your room. Lovely too. The room came with fans and AC.
If you're ever in this corner of AZ and want to experience a local place, stay here. You won't be disappointed.
Sweet dreams

We are currently staying in this hotel in 114 degree arizona weather and the Air conditioning is broken!!! The manager is saying they cannot get anyone out tonight or tomorrow to fix it. There are fans but all they do is blow the hot air. It's almost 90 degrees in the room. This room should have never been rented out. It's almost 10 pm and we are going to have to move everything out and try to find another place.

PERFECT! I went on a 9 day trip through Arizona and this was one of my favorite hotels! It’s small and cute but the price and room was well worth the stop. We had the deluxe king and it came with another room that had a table, sink and full sized fridge! It felt like an apartment! The room was very clean and cool for it being so hot out. Bedding was soft. Towels were soft and bathroom was nice. I loved the extra makeup wipes! The only issue was a yapping dog beside us after the people left it in the room and it barked til midnight. But that’s not the fault of the hotel just bad dog parents

We had to take our RV into the shop to get some work done and it was going to take about a week. Fort Verde Suites was recommended as a place we could stay while the work was being done.
What a nice place! it was in a great location near restaurants and a grocery store. The rooms were very clean and staff were very friendly. The Manager was wonderful and attended to whatever needs we had and promptly.
We would highly recommend this motel to everyone

Fort Verde suites is in a great area. The vicinity is great for those coming to explore Arizona. Close to Sedona and many beautiful hikes. The rooms are nice and include a full kitchen. There is an awesome 24 hour taco shop 2 minutes away, a antique store across the street and a feeding store / market next door where you can buy drinks. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Definitely will be back! After a long day of hiking and exploring this cozy little town, coming back to a perfectly working AC unit, and a fresh, hot shower in a clean bathroom, is definitely key. Cleanliness exceeded expectations of a motel. All of the staff was very friendly, insightful, and helpful with recommendations on activities and local restaurants. Make sure to ask for Steven, he'll hook you up. Highly recommended, FIVE stars.

Decided to take a quick hiking trip away from Las Vegas with my brother & sisters. Camp Verde is the perfect "in between" from all of the hiking trails we were excited to see!

Fort Verde Suites is a nice little motel in the cutest, little country town I've ever been in!

The room was very clean! I have to admit, I was worried about bugs being in a itty bitty town in a motel, but we didn't see one in the room at all over the 3 nights we stayed here! Decently priced, and most importantly.. had a working AC unit! (it's summer time--so it's HOT outside!) Our room

This place is an older place and they tried their best to keep it in ok condition but it is what it is. We chose it because it had great reviews, but realize it just changed ownership recently so prior reviews may not reflect current things.

Some COVID changes:
No continental breakfast as advertised which makes sense
The office hours are limited (ie closed at 7 pm and don't open til 10 am) so you check out by leaving keys in a room if you leave before 10 am. We had checked in at 7 pm and left by 9 am, thought it was odd, but this was just a routine stay... so no big deal with the pandemic

We stayed here 3 nights while visiting Sedona and the surrounding area. Other hotels could learn a thing or two about housekeeping from this one. Our last road trip we stayed at a number of Best Westerns that we're not half as clean. Everything in our room worked. Great water pressure. The towels were soft and fluffy and the sheets soft. The continental breakfast includes fresh coffee, orange juice, and milk. English muffins, bagels, oatmill, cereal, and fresh fruit. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Don't let the 3 stars detour you from here. I was actually torn between three or four stars because it really is a nice hotel for such a small town. The only reason I gave three stars is because I had some issues with the cleanliness in the bathroom.
Upon first impression I really like this little hotel. They are in a great area located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly and the front porch area looks so welcoming with rocking chairs and tables outside the rooms. I liked the appearance of the room and it's furniture and decor. They are dog friendly

Based on all the positive reviews we read prior to our arrival we were expecting a nice place. We were not disappointed.

Donna was very nice, especially since we arrived after the office closes at 10pm. Even though she was still willing to check us in.

This is a small family run hotel with very clean rooms and comfortable beds.

The town is cool with an antique shop across the street. We were there in a Saturday morning and there was a farmers market a couple of blocks away.

A great short stop.

Thanks Donna!

My family stayed here for a night in the family suite, after sightseeing at Montezuma's Castle. This little motor inn looked super cute and we wanted to check out the Verde Brewing Company so we decided to stay here before heading back to Flagstaff.

The family suite has 2 rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with 2 queen beds. Both rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms made it especially nice since we have 2 teenagers. The free wi-fi was great too!

The kitchen/dining room area with the table gave us space to play cards in the evening. Having the refrigerator
