Needed a cake for my daughters bday, something simple and cute, and choosing Patty's was perfect! I ordered it the week of online (super easy to customize) and it came out amazing!
Everyone loved it and it's so awesome there's so many flavor combinations you can choose.

Impeccable service. Jackie was a big help in creating the most tasty gluten free gender reveal cake! The process was seamless and the gluten free cupcakes/cakes were delicious! Highly reccomend for those with gluten allergies.

Love this place! My husband and I come here every so often for the cupcakes and cookies, and we got our daughter’s birthday cake here. The cake was wonderful…we received lots of compliments on the flavor and how moist it was. They don’t disappoint! Highly recommend. :)

Wonderful bakery! Our wedding venue works with Patty's Cakes and we are so glad! Or tasting appointment was exciting and Patty was there to guide us in flavor combinations and designs. The tasting was so warm and enjoyable. We left as big fans if Patty's cakes. The frosting is light and the cake is wonderful. Our wedding cake had strawberry, lemon, and white cake. The cupcake combinations are delicious and when we took some home after our tasting, we called to alter our original choices to be closer to the cupcake flavors. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we will be back soon

Wanted a special birthday treat for my son living in Irvine. I live on the east coast and found Patty's online. Everyone at Patty's was super responsive, unusually pleasant in these trying times and easy to work with. I ordered 24 mini cupcakes in a Birthday box and my son reported that they were delicious, fresh and delivered exactly on time. Thank you, Patty's Cakes, for helping this mom make a happy celebration!

Called into the shop a few days prior to order two 8 inch semi-naked double layer cakes ($55 each). The girl who helped with the phone order was friendly and made it a breeze to place the order. Orders over $50 require a deposit of at least half the amount or you can also pay the full amount over the phone.

The cakes were ready at the designated time the day of. Beautiful tall cakes that we decorated with fresh florals and a cake topper on our own.

Besides the cakes looking great, they also tasted amazing! The cake itself was light + airy and the cream wasn't too sweet. Loved the vanilla

I love the concept of made to order cupcakes but, unfortunately, I've almost always had at least one dry cupcake or more every time I go and I tend to order 4-6 at a time. They're just too expensive to be dry. It's a very cute shop though, no room to sit and hang out really, and the staff is usually very nice and helpful. I saw once that they sell leftover cake shavings or something like that and I would definitely like to give that a try. If you're looking for moist, light cupcakes with a wide variety of flavors for cake, filling, creams, and mousses, look no further! Can't go wrong with any of their cupcakes. You can also choose from regular size and mini size cupcakes. They also have gluten free and vegan cupcake options for those with dietary restrictions. My favorite flavors are the chocolate with peanut butter mousse and the banana with vanilla cream. They also have cake balls and cookies; I haven't tried them but they look delicious.

Pretty Good cupcakes. They are neither extremely wonderfully different but never bad. I've been here for my cupcake fix about 1/2 a dozen times and the quality is pretty much as consistent as you get. (Though I think they mass batch the base cupcake and just swap out the toppings/frosting on everything). Efficient and consistent yes, but original/custom...not so much.

They are good the day of but less good the day after. (In the case that's a big deal to you)

A friend had some cupcakes delivered to me for my bday and they were delish! Cupcakes are nice and fluffy vs dense - which is my kind of cake.

Cupcakes tried:
Lemon + guava: love this flavor. Not too heavy and the two flavors pair perfectly together.

Chocolate with vanilla mousse: I usually prefer white cake with vanilla (I know boring) , but was amazed by how delish this cupcake was! It was like a hostess cupcake on crack and my favorite of the 3 tried!!

White with chocolate fudge: I wanted to like this cupcake, but the fudge frosting was just too rich for me.

It was our son's birthday and he wanted a specific cake - marble with oreos so after doing a bit of research on Yelp, I found Patty's Cakes and Desserts. They had very positive reviews, and more importantly- the exact kind of cake our kiddo wanted.

I called to ask a couple of questions and the woman assisting me was very kind and helpful. After confirming this was the cake we needed in our lives, I was able to easily order and pay online (be sure to order custom cakes at least 2 days in advance).

The best vegan cupcakes around!! Their frosting on the cupcakes is perfection! I love that they have a variety of vegan options. Although my husband isn’t a huge fan of sweets he tried the s’mores cake ball and loved it. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!

This place has the best cupcakes I've every had they are really fresh and the flavor is great not too sweet just the right amount of sweetness. My two favorite flavors are the red velvet with cream cheese filling and the chocolate with chocolate fudge it reminds me of a Hostess so good !! They have lots of flavors to choose from they also sell cakes the staff has always been kind and helpful.

I was looking for a cupcake place and found Patty's cakes on here. This has been my go to cupcake place for the past 5 years. So this review is long overdue.

They have an enormous range of cupcake flavors that comes in standard, vegan and gluten-free options. Their cupcakes are bigger than most places and are $3.75 each. They also have mini size cupcakes for a dozen $24. The cupcakes are always moist even after the next day. Frostings delicious and fluffy. We come here whenever we want the good stuff.

Yummy! I'm pretty sure I wrote a review here years ago, but I'm not sure why it never posted. This place is probably my top three favorite dessert places in orange county. There are so many good bakeries in Orange County and I would have to say they are the most consistent, reasonable pricing, and always very friendly. They have the most unique flavors and I'm pretty sure I have tried every single flavor. Everything is good here, my favorite are the mini cupcakes.

Favs: all their banana ones, all their chocolate ones, anything mousse, banana split, their Oreo ones, and honestly

These cupcakes are definitely better than the cupcakes from another place that won’t be named, but it’s very famous. That place is over rated, but Patty’s are the right amount of sweetness and very moist and soft. They also had more flavors than I could get at one time, but will definitely be back to check out the other flavors. The Chocolate Caramel Salty Cupcake definitely lives up to the hype! No disappointment there. So worth it!

I went here to get some cupcakes for my sons 1st birthday and a little cake smash for him. Definitely wouldn't come here to get items for a cake smash because it's a little pricey for something that's "wasted." However, just for eating this place was great!! They had a lot of flavors and complex pairing and it was so tasty to try a few different kids.

They make a handful of cakes/cupcakes everyday that you pick up same day, or you can have something more custom prepared and come back at a later time. Lots of flexibility it seemed.

I was never really a dessert type until the bf showed me his favorite cupcake store Patty's cakes! Omg! I am hooked not only are their cupcakes delicious and bigger than most normal size regular cupcakes they are always fresh and moist even after a day or 2 in the refrigerator.

This little dessert shop is located in Fullerton on commonwealth on a busy street but there is lots of street parking. The hype is real! I will never go anywhere else for cupcakes. Patty's cakes lives up to the hype. It was one of the vendors recommended by Coyote Hills Golf Course for our wedding, and we could have have been happier. As someone who doesn't like cake, especially frosting, I was surprised at how much I loved Patty's cakes. They have a lot of different flavors of cakes and fillings, none of them too overpowering.

I came in her with my granddaughter to get a few cupcakes for her birthday. The place is spotless-clean, and as cute as can be. The customer service was friendly and helpful, as first time customers.
The cupcakes are made/frosted to order and they have a huge selection, truly something for everyone. My granddaughter had the Chocolate with Oreo Mousse cupcake and I had the Chocolate Caramel Salty cupcake. They were delicious, even my granddaughter noted how good the mousse was. I believe it's the first time having mousse at 9 years old. My cupcake was SO moist and creamy, the flavor is very good

Cupcake are a perfect combination of soft and fluffy. The frosting is not overly sweet. A great balanced cupcake. Even my non- dessert eating husband enjoyed them. Highly recommend.

We ordered a cake for an engagement party. Everyone loved it. It was the vanilla cake with Bavarian cream and raspberry filling. The frosting was lighter than normal frosting. More like a whip cream. We will ordering from here again. They have a good selection of cupcakes too.

Patty's Cakes was a huge win for my husband and I. The banana cream wedding cake was a huge crowd favorite. Also, when planning, Patty's Cakes made the tasting appointment and delivery a breeze. They even sent a confirmation on the day of the wedding as soon as the cake was delivered! I had no worries when it came to Patty's Cakes handling our wedding cake!

Every flavor was absolutely delicious! The cupcakes aren't made until you order so expect a tiny wait...but a WELL WORTH WAIT!!! The Monkey's Uncle is the best!!!!!!! I also enjoyed the Red Velvet! The flavors weren't over powering and mixed just perfectly :)
