HappySweet Bakery

I'm pretty sure they're closed for good. But still they should put up a sign or respond to emails and calls of customers wanting to give them their business. It was a good bakery when it was open.

I called this cake place and left a vm to inquire on ordering a cake. I never heard back from anyone. I read other positive reviews here that's why I chose this bakery plus their cakes caught my attention. Sadly, I'll have to go somewhere else. When you don't call back customers, how can you keep your business? SINCE I LEFT THIS REVIEW, I VISITED THE BAKERY AND I SAW THEIR OVENS AND OTHER ITEMS BEING PACKED. IT APPEARS THEY'RE CLOSING FOR GOOD.

Never open! Even with their very limited business hours, they are not open when they state they are. This is the 3rd time I drive all the way out to HB and they are not open (although it’s a Friday). They also do not answer their phones so good luck reaching them. Unbelievable.

Let numerous messages, sent texts and emails. Nothing....not one return phone call. Terrible customer service.

I gave this place a 1 star due to the fact that upon arriving, there was a posted sign advising, "We are open by appointment only." I was really looking forward to pursuing their sweets, but I don't have time for an appointment. So, I walked over to The Donuttery and got some amazing sweets instead.

This place has SO MANY drink options!!
I got the nauti beach which is gorgeous and very fruity. Tastes exactly like a blue drink should. My husband got their coffee drink...forgot what it's called...but he enjoyed it because it's pretty sweet (which he likes!)

We also got their tiny creme brulee which was a mistake because it was SO rich & vanilla'y that i needed more! The strawberry choux are amazing too.

I havent yet had their macarons but my husband got two and said while they were beautiful, they were not very tasty. But their cookies look homemade so i want to try them

I threw a camp-themed baby shower for my sister and it was a success thanks to Cathy and Bianca from HappySweet Bakery.

Everything was done via text because of Covid, but the communication was a breeze; from initial contact to coordinating custom designs to final delivery--everything was smooth sailing.

BONUS: cupcakes, pretzel sticks and macarons were exceptionally tasty!

This dessert place has so many sweets it's a little overwhelming but the options are endless! I opted for a dozen of macarons and a drink (lych on me in a pop cap bottle).
The ganache in the macarons are a little sweet but they pack flavor!
The lych on me (lychee green tea with lychee jelly) is very much like any other one you can get at a boba shop. The additional sizes of cups makes it so fun!

I wanted something sweet to end my busy and productive day, and I found this little bakery just down the street. Located in the corner of a small shopping strip, next to the Salvation Army and behind the Donuttery, this little shop has wide range of products!

They have asian sweet drinks, with adorable names, and sweet treats for everyone to enjoy. I believe on my visit I saw hot chocolate bombs, macarons, cake pops, fruit tarts, and mini cakes. Happy Sweet is a bakery/ boba spot that is full of sweets that will definitely make you happy.

The area that they're located in is not the newest or nicest (aka I personally wouldn't come alone at night). But the bakery itself is small and cutely decorated. They have a small display of cookies and macarons but their bakery seems better suited for custom made desserts.

Besides your typical cake, they make the prettiest fruit tart cakes in the shape of letters or numbers. They come in 6", 8" and 12" sizes with either cream cheese or custard filling and can be decorated

Great find! If you love macaroons, great treats and everything you could imagine in boba teas and smoothies, this is the place. We only found it bc we went to the donuttery and after wondering what happy sweet was (it's next to a smoke shop so seemed out of place) and looked it up and saw a review of their Vietnamese coffee... so we had to try it.

Taro, pistachio and matcha macaroons were two thumbs up and my Vietnamese coffee was AMAZING! Served in the cutest of containers. Following covid protocols: employees and customers all being responsible wearing masks and supporting the stopping

This place isnt your usual boba/milk tea joint as it offers various baked goods too (i.e macaroons, ice cream, custom cakes, cookies, etc.).
The drink menu is quite extensive and I was happy to see various fruit teas which I what i gravitate to. I ordered a mango/passion fruit green tea w mango jelly, no ice, no additional sugar which was good. I still added a bit of water when I got home as it was still a bit too sweet for me and it makes my tea last longer. The creme brulee was pretty good too.

My sister told me to try this place so I came here with my friend yesterday and the drinks were good! We got the jasmine milk tea and peach/ lychee green tea both were so flavorful! The jasmine milk tea was good (a nice green tea flavor) and the fruit tea had a really good taste of peach/ lychee and fruit bits at the bottom! The drinks came in their pop can cups which was so cute & the drinks were at an affordable price $4.85! We wanted to try some things from the bakery but we decided to get it next time instead, they have a bunch of cute character design cookies, cakes and macaroons!

Wonderful French Macarons (best flavor is Rose). Best shop in OC that I have found so far. Only other competitor in OC is Honey and Butter in Irvine. They serve Italian macarons there.

This place rocks!! I was looming for somewhere in the OC to find cake pops, I've looked for about an hour and then I found this please. They have so many different types of cake pops and drinks too. :) I give this place a 5* because they came in handy when my daughter wanted cake pops and not from Starbucks. Thanks happy sweet bakery! You guys came in and made our weekend. You best believe we will be back!!

I ordered a couple cookies for my sister's graduation. It was a somewhat last minute order, but they were still able to accommodate my request. I sent a couple pictures of what I was looking for and the cookies turned out absolutely perfect! I was so happy! They even came packaged in a cute little box!
I didn't expect the cookies to taste that great. Usually, the food is either cute and tastes bad, or tastes good and looks bad. But I was pleasantly surprised! The cookies were super delicious!
Cannot wait to order from Happy Sweet again!

Thai tea with boba
-tea came in a sealed soda can top, cool. The drink itself was sweetened lightly. The boba has a good chew. Bought it at 8pm at night and the boba was still chewy.

Taro slush
-taste okay. There was a weird after taste I couldn't not pin point.

Right on the corner near the Donuttery. I liked the chewy boba.

This place is fun and quirky and had great treats and drinks. They frequently have free samples available to try. I purchased some of their milk tea most recently and loved it. The bottling is fun and different. It’s definitely worth a stop by!

Tried the milk teas...BOMB. We had the rose one, the caramel one, the fruit one, and the strawberry one. Very delicious and awesome containers, my kids and i love the milk carton containers, the want to reuse their containers as water bottles for school because they like them so much

Their teas are amazing (my favorites are the peach+ lychee fruit tea and taro milk tea). The bottles are also very cute just like the rest of the store.
