Sylvain, Odette, Mike, Annie, and Karina realized that property management could be the perfect complement to the family business, By Carrier. SOMAK understands that there are many aspects to taking care of an association. We address the physical needs as well as the administrative aspects of management. We do this while keeping one important thing at the forefront of our work and the purpose of your community is to give unit owners a sense of security, peace, and pride of ownership.
SOMAK is confident that your association will find our services dependable, helpful, and satisfying. That's why we've always offered a 60 day cancellation policy; we don't hide behind long term contracts. We clearly describe our services for two reasons: transparency and the ability for board members to select us for specific jobs.
SOMAK complements the family business, By Carrier, which allows us the flexibility to offer services a la carte. We also offer resources to deal with some of the harder winters hitting the Northeast lately. Our access to heavy equipment means an association does not need to scramble to make room for even more snow.

On June 23, 2020 I put in a request with Somak to replace the kickboard at my front door as it’s been completely rotted out due to poor gutter maintenance. I repeated the request to have the kickboard replaced several times. The property manager contacted me in August stating the kickboard would be replaced in August. It is now September 9, 2020 and the kickboard has not been replaced and continues to rot out. The list of complaints could go on. Extremely poor property management! I own a condo that is managed by SOMAK in Plainville. They also cover the snow removal for this property.
Long story short, I wish SOMAK managed all my condo properties. They are helpful, responsive, reasonable, and do quality work. They have resolved any issue that came up, and even worked with me on some issues with my tenant.

We have been in contact with SOMAK for over a year now. The first 6 months, we were simply looking into who would best serve our association-but for the last year, they have officially been our managing company. They are nothing short of amazing. First and foremost-CONTACT! Any time I reach out to them, I have a call or email returned-usually within the first 30 minutes!!
Beyond that, I have found their office to be organized and productive. When something is said to be done-IT IS DONE. In today's age-it is nice to have someone stand behind their word and do what they said they would.

As President of a condo association I would like to say how pleased our board members and unit owners are with Somac. They are very accommodating and well informed. In the past I had to micro manage the work from prior management companies but now I feel very confident in having Somac as our property management. I give them 5 stars.
