I had a spinal fusion and several other procedures four years ago with Doctor Miller. I have not had any sciatica pain or major problems with my back other than a little aching since. I am so grateful. The PAs were readily accessible and skilled, as was the nursing staff. The appointment people were kind and very helpful.

I can not understand why the negative reviews. Dr. Trent performed my spine surgeries and the results were excellent. I trust this surgeon completely. He listens and is very understanding. His staff is caring, efficient and responsive. I received excellent care at the Haywood hospital.
I highly recommend this doctor and hospital.

I had a herniated disc - it did not reabsorb on its own, and they made me feel at ease about the surgery to fix it.
I went from not being able to stand up straight or be on my feet for more than 10 minutes without immense pain down my sciatic nerve, to being able to stand up straight again as soon as I was awake after the surgery.
Now, a year later, I'm still doing well and I'm back to my normal job that has me on my feet 8+ hours at a time and lifting 50+lbs regularly. I feel great!
Thank you so much.

The only thing this place is good at is getting you in the door and sitting you on there nice Lobby seats. Absolutely the worst doctor and staff I have ever encountered in the medical industry. They rush you from the time you walk in and make you pay before you even go back in the exam room. They don't want to hear anything extra you might have to offer about your condition like family history and other conditions that you are experiencing that might be related to the current one. Wham bam thank you for your payment ma'am now go spend more money on more procedures that I will charge you for as

I am under a workmans comp claim so I guess this is why I was not a priority!!! I hurt my back on the job and numbness in my arms arm due to the injury. The orthopedic surgeon I first met with believed the numbness was from my neck and sent me to mtn. spine. After a long wait I finally got an appointment and drove from rabun gap ga just to see Dr. Miller. He never examined me, never even asked about my pain. I watched him fill out info on me on his computer and one of the questions was pain level. He filled in an answer himself without asking me. Set me up for MRI of neck back in sylva. I left

Missed appointments makes you a bad patient here. You can have the best Dr, do surgery on your back, and when you need them because you have prior missed appointments they will not see you. Mind you my surgery was over 3 years ago and now because of missed appointments Dr Trent allows his office to push his patients that trust him and need him away.. way to go guys

I had a discectomy and spinal fusion at mountain spine few months back and i must say that "dr." miller is the rudest most unapproachable doctors i have ever come across, he and his assistant (Grady) did that massive and invasive surgery on me and i had a 6 week infection that went away but was also cut off from all help with pain and existing issues that proceeded to happen after this surgery. I have had multiple falls and at one point lost a major sensation in my leg for weeks with no explanation and when i approached these doctors i was told since an old MRI show no damage to my hardware that
