We offer individual Executive Functioning Coaching sessions for your teen or young adult who needs help with prioritizing, managing time, finding an organizational system for school and life materials, planning ahead and more. We have Executive Functioning Coaches who will help your child to become efficient, organized and independent!
Sometimes, you, as the parent, need a little guidance in providing the behind-the-scenes support for your child with ADHD, anxiety, or behavioral struggles. Sometimes, both parents need to become more aligned in your approach to parenting and your expectations. We can also guide you as you work with your child's teacher, Guidance Counselor, or Child Study Team in gaining supports for your child in school.

Horrible experience, Dr. Liz Matheis you really made me feel uncomfortable. I’m not happy with my initial session with this doctor. Don’t fall for her good reviews. I also know she asks her patients to give her good reviews because that is what she asked me to do! Dr Liz Matheis you should ever get mad at your patients or make them think they are beneath you. I will never return and I found a better doctor 2 miles down the road. Thankfully my new doctor takes the time to sit and talk with me rather then put me down and make me feel like I’m not worth the time!

Dr Liz is caring, compassionate and understanding. Her expertise with children with special needs and their families provides her with insight that many other therapists do not possess. Dr Liz Matheis has poor communication skills lacked interest in me as a patient. I have tried many times to have Dr. Liz just listen to me and stop talking about her experiences with others or her success with TV shows or radio. I came to Dr Liz because I am one person with my own problems. I left feeling like I was 1000 different cases she has seen. I felt like I was her therapist for the time I was there. Most unprofessional person and doctor to say the least.. She is as fake as they come. All about how many times you were on a show or a radio. Try listening to your patients.

I personally have been going to dr.Liz since I was a kid and have had nothing but great experiences, she has taught me many skills through the years that I incorporate into my everyday life , every time I walk out of her office i feel as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and most importantly that I have been heard and understood

Dr. Liz and her team are the best! My son felt comfortable with her immediately and Dr. Liz knew exactly how to get him to respond. She was helpful with finding ways to improve his study habits and time management. His test scores and grades overall are showing tremendous improvement. Dr. Liz is a compassionate and extremely knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her practice.

Dr. LIz & her team are wonderful! Navigating learning disabilities and the emotional and mental turmoil that children go through has been very tough on our family. Dr. Liz is the best! Our family was directed to her by our Pediatrician to assist with figuring out severe mood changes, severe anxiety, strange new fears and food aversion that had come onto one of our children literally over night. After just a couple of visits, she suggested that the issues may actually be rooted in a physical issue and suggested we immediately take our child to be swabbed for strep, because Dr. Liz suspected PANDAS (is a pediatric autoimmune disorder brought on by strep). Dr. Liz and her team are incredibly professional and supportive. Dr. Liz promised me she would get to the bottom of my child's learning issues and she did! She truly cares about each individual child. She is comprehensive and thorough, while helping me to navigate the school system. She helped my son's team and I put together a plan of support services and since then, he has been achieving success in school. I highly recommend her.
