Our approach builds character as much as minds through individualized education, creative, and even a little risk taking. We are all unique. How we learn, where our interest lie, and where we will go in life will lead each of us to our own success. Our primary focus is learning. Research has proven that the mind is learning at a quantum rate and we foster a child's development through ambitious learning opportunities.
We started Young Explorers because we wanted the ideal place for our son to learn and grow. And now it's a community where all of our children grow to find their own confidence and voice. I'm always amazed at the joy in our families faces. The everyday moments with our children when they discover something new are truly priceless.
Our ambitious academic program exceeds Ohio Department of Education Academic Content Standards and our Montessori Method provides gentle instruction along the way to ensure our students are confidently ready for kindergarten. As the very first Young Explorers school, we've been proud to serve Aurora families since 2002.

We are new to Young Explorers and so far very happy with the switch. The hours are so open and accommodating for homes with schedules like ours. Also the amenities are clean and new. The staff is so friendly and upbeat. My son adapted very quickly. So far as of this review the school has not had one case of Covid. Huge testament to the steps they’re taking to keep everyone safe.

Young Explorers is wonderful! When we began our search a few years ago for my son to attend pre-k, we fell in love with the staff and they made our decision very easy! They were all so welcoming and friendly. You can tell they truly care about the children. The facility is very nice and always clean. They have gone above and beyond during the pandemic to ensure the safety of staff and families. My son adores his teachers, Miss Amanda and Miss Taylor and I feel confident that they have given him the tools needed to start kindergarten in the fall. We will miss them! I highly recommend them to anyone
