We drove all the way from Las Cruces NM, and they did not disappoint. This place is the best very we’ve been to and they are extremely nice and kind. They answered all of our questions. They were the only ones to take us in after an hour of calling because our pup had worms. They let us figure out that our stray cat was microchipped with someone else, even though we went to a vet in Las cruces who told us he didn’t have a chip…. They helped us contact them and gave us instructions on what to do next. The vet was very good with our animals. Very helpful, kind, and thorough. Would recommend

Last week we were devastated when our small dog was attacked by our other larger dog and was injured fairly severely. The two had been “sisters” for almost 5 years and best friends. We took our dog to El Abrigado and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were kind, attentive, considerate, and thoughtful. They took time to comfort myself and my children, showed genuine concern for our dog, and they got us in quickly. They provided excellent care to our dog and she is doing much better. I feel we were guided to El Abrigado Animal Clinic. About 6 months ago my fur baby Apollo was having severe pain. I had called all the dog clinics in my area and no one could see him. Finally at 5:30pm we found El Abrigado Animal Clinic. They close at 6pm and asked them if they could see Apollo and they didn't even hesitate. We got there and Dr. Hernandez assessed Apollo and everything from there got so much better. Thanks to El Abrigado Animal Clinic Apollo well and for this I they will always be a part of our lives. I love and have the highest trust of this place for our pets! The staff is ALWAYS friendly and the doctors are great. Seriously—even on the phone. Their customer service is the best. We’ve been taking our dogs the past few years here and they’ve been treated for emergencies along with their annuals. Not once have I encountered a bad experience here. We switched here from the country club clinic because it was always a hit or miss there.
