Country Club Animal Clinic was established in 1995. The Country Club name was chosen because Dr. Harvey started the practice out of her home on Country Club Road in April of 1995, making house calls out of the back of a Honda hatchback. After starting as a house-call practice, primarily seeing birds and other exotics, within two months the practice quickly grew into a full-fledged general practice with dogs and cats.
With the help of Matt and Debbie Koch, a permanent site was found at 5470 Doniphan. The doors opened on Memorial Day, 1995. Since we opened, we have always taken pride in giving good customer service, providing excellent care to our patients in a clean, neat environment at fair prices.

A "tumor" is simply a swelling. There are many different causes of swellings. Abscesses, insect bites, allergic reactions, and cancer are just some of the causes. Your pet's veterinarian can distinguish between these causes by a physical exam, history and sometimes other diagnostic tests. Each cause has its own individual treatment.
What is a blood pressure test? A blood pressure test for animals is a painless procedure that can be performed in the veterinarian's office. It measures the pressure of blood against the walls of large arteries. Which pets need a blood pressure test?
This may be recommended by your veterinarian if your pet has signs of high blood pressure or if they currently have a disease that can be associated with high blood pressure, including hyperthyroidism or kidney disease.Depending on the age of the animal, they may be tested at every visit as well. If your pet is chronically ill or will be under general anesthesia a blood pressure test is used.

We've been loyal to Dr. Harvey for yesrs. The staff is friendly and the care is exceptional. My dog loves the doggie day care and the boarding area is wonderful. I recently took my rescue for grooming and he was a handsome boy when done. We just got a reminder than annual shots are due. well be making an appointment. Gladly.

Positive: Quality, Reliability
I’ve gone to country club for years. Dr. Harvey and her staff are all so kind and sweet to not only the animals, but the people as well. She’s always spoken the truth about what she thinks is necessary for your animal, and it’s something I appreciate when bringing an animal in.

Dr. Harvey has treated my pets since 2005. Currently I have a German Shepard who is allergic to beef and chicken. With Dr. Harvey's guidance we have found a middle ground with my German Shepard's allergies.
I am quite happy with the staff and Dr. Harvey.
P.S. Country Club Animal clinic also has a grooming service next door.

We took our German shepherd there for the first time shes only 2 years old but is very protective of my wife and daughter and my self. We thought she was going to give the nurse veterinarian a hard time and she didn't they treated her in a manner that our dog acted like if she knew them. Awesome job I loved it and we are planning on taking all six of her other dogs and are to cats as well

Highly recommend the staff is so caring not only to your fur babies but to you. My 6 week old puppy had a really bad reaction to heartworm medicine. I called the morning when he was really sick and got him there right in time. They took him in started working on him and offered different options to pay the vet bill. I love that they said if I got… worried at all I could call anytime to check on him and they answered what felt like 50 times I called due to stress of losing him being so small. But with the help of Dr. Harvey and the wonderful staff they brought him back even healthier than
