0 stars, rude, unprofessional doctor, tried even to harass until asked to back off and keep distance.
Didn't even look at my dogs in details, nor speaking taking tests etc.
53lb for a female German shepherd is underweight for him. Look at the standards, man standard weight for female is 45lb to 63lb. This place can be co.pared to butcher place, not "healing animal one", and surely he has duties to be polite with customers

Dr. Freund has been our vet for the past 10 years, and he is the best!. Dr. Freund always returns calls and his prices are very reasonable. Dr. Freund gets to the root of the problem and calls it as it is without giving you the runaround. Dr. Freund is truly there for your pets and not for financial gain. Thanks, Dr. Freund. The staff is always good to us as well. Very friendly.

Critical: Professionalism, Reliability
Just called to get a quote on a check up for a kitten. Receptionist didn't even let me finish she cut me off just to let me know she's not scheduling anything. I get if your busy but I asked for a quote so I could decide I wanted an appointment. Will not bother wasting my time here I'd I can't even ask a simple question.

Took my 16 year old pup in to be put to sleep. Staff was sensitive to my distress and even postponed the payment process til a later date. They were respectful and kind at a time when their behavior spoke as much as their words. A big thank you to Dr. FREUND and his staff for the treatment of four legged and two legged visitors to their office.

If you are looking for an amazing Vet with amazing staff for your fur baby look no further. Let me tell you they all will go the extra mile for your pet. Here are my experiences. Dr Freund saved my Newfies life from a spay gone wrong (Initial surgery done by different vet) he opted for exploratory surgery and fixed the issue along with supportive care (x-ray, fluids, meds ect.. ). My great Pyrenees got parvo and ended up being hospitalized for almost a week. Her WBC went too low. We were told to prepare ourselves but the staff and Dr. Freund still fought for her. She had to stay over the weekend

I have been taking all three of my Dogs to Dr. Freund for a couple of years now and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with them. He’s the best in town. He is great with my pups and is always to the point. I recently went through a nightmare with one of my pups who was attacked by 2 pit bulls. My puppy was at the emergency hospital for a week and they helped save him but after a couple of days I discharged him and took him to Dr. Freund who is his primary. He assessed him and right away knew what to do with his wound. He literally saved his ear and me from an anxiety attack. He didn’t beat around

I came here on a Monday with my sick dog. The receptionist was beyond rude. Not only to me but how she was speaking to clients on the phone was unbelievable. I was there 10 mins before she acknowledged me. Instead of asking the next call to hold she kept answering them. Finally she said she could try to work me in only after ignoring me and then very rudely raising her voice and telling me "I said to have a seat!" Like I was a kid in school not listening to the teacher. After that and hearing her speak so rudely and raise her voice to a client in the phone, there was no way in hell would I leave

This terrible vet had the audacity to tell me my dogs paw was ok after her limping on it for a few day so they charged me for the X-ray never showed me it, gave me pain killers and said she will be fine in 2 weeks. I followed the advice ended up taking her to another vet because after 2 weeks it got worst. So I had to take her to another vet where they took another X-ray and install noticed it was a break. So if you care about your pets I wouldn't even consider this place.

I love the veterinarian there and he charges reasonably, however it is very difficult to schedule an appointment there. The secretaries there are rude and make it very difficult to get in. I call three weeks ahead of time to make an appointment to get my dog's teeth cleaned and they say it can't be done. They want to give me an appointment four weeks from now. The hours of operation are very impractical for working people.

The Coronado Animal Clinic was recommended by a friend and had good reviews, so I decided to take my best friend Riley here. I believe our first visit to the clinic was in May 2017.

Been bringing my dogs and cats here for more than a year now. Dr. Freund was recommended to me by a friend from the dog park so I gave him a go. 1st, I took my Malinois puppy who was a bit over exuberant. The dr got her under control in seconds and even recommended a trainer (which we did end up hiring). We took our rescue shepherd mix there, our older cat (who got cancer and unfortunately had to be put down) and now, our two newest cats. I have been going here with my past 4 dogs which is roughly a good 10-15 years I believe. Most of the ladies in the front are very nice! They always get you in quick and the vet is very good at his job he very obviously love animals and gets the diagnosis rather quick! Any questions you have he will answer quickly and thoroughly to get you in and out with all the answers or medical attention your pet needs quickly! EVERYONE here loves animals and that is easily seen! That's why I give it five stars!

I have 9 dogs and all of them come here for anything from shots to sneezes. Dr. Freund is an amazing Vet. Great with my animals. Even had a lot of surgeries done and i remember the first one lime it was yesterday.... I ask if i needed to buy a cone for him in which the Dr. Replied " If your dog needed to wear a cone, then i didn't do my job right" . thank you guysfor the years of great care :)

Cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff is awesome, and the doctor is so caring. He honestly cares about your animals more than your bill! He has never overcharged me for anything, and my dogs are in there all of the time. He is cautious but also realistic, and only does what is necessary. He even left medication for me outside the office when I had to come after hours! Love this place and I wouldn't trust my dogs to anywhere else.
