We have high hopes now that Stella Mare has purchased Blue Water, but there are certain items no one can fix. Here are our pros and cons. We have a 44’ Class A.
PROS
1) Nice club houses and great ocean views from the front one.
2) All concrete roads and sites. Very level sites except a few up front.
3) Nice staff and trash service twice a day.
4) Almost half the sites are on a canal for fishing.
5) Some sites have shared docks to fish from.
6) Very quiet toward the back where we stayed.
CONS
1) All Sites are back in which minimizes views on a Class A.
2) Main road is too narrow and

Everything super clean - bathhouse, clubhouse, pool, campgrounds! They come by and grab trash and fill up propane tanks. Beach across the street, canal along one side, leaving. Beautiful scenic view all around. We were here over thanksgiving and they had a potluck and the owner and staff went above and beyond with the food and set up! We didn’t get to join in on all the crafts but they have a few activities for everyone to join!! We will definitely be back!

This is one of the best RV parks we have stayed in. It is clean with nice facilities. There is a beach area right across the road within easy walking distance. The location of the park is away from highly populated areas, so it has a calm feel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Cute park. Close to the beach. Great little inlet to the bay (kayak into grasses to fish or take the boat out into the bay). Hope they get the bar or restaurant up and running. They do have food trucks in the season - we were there off season and they still had live music. Great communicating with check in.
Only negative was mosquitoes. Maybe how far the store is, but you know that looking at a map.

Blue Water RV Resort is by far the best RV park we've experienced in Galveston or Surfside. The staff and management are very friendly, so helpful, and made us feel welcome. The entire park is spotless, from office/store to pool to each site - all in perfect repair. It is very family oriented and quite. Our week-long stay has been simply fabulous and we'll definitely be back again. The views are spectacular, bayside waterway to the west, spotless and private gulf beach to the south, and wetland preserve to the east. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely park, well maintained, clean, looks almost new. The "pads" are dead level but perhaps a bit close. They help you back in (we had an ocean view site) and that's good because it was a really tight fit that required considerable maneuvering to avoid a palm tree and other parked cars. The Beach is right across a two lane road that isn't very busy. The campground, as you can tell from the map, is long and deep so many people here have or rent golf carts. We spent our money on a front site instead of a cart but that put us a long way from the pool :-).

We made the reservation less than a week before we checked in. Last week in December we booked for 2 nights.
The resort was super clean and neat. Check in they were very friendly and helpful. Beach access was directly across the street (bonus)
I only gave 3 stars due to it was not mentioned that the restaurant and bar were completely closed for business. The closest restaurants and bars were a minimum of 20 minutes away. Pool was not heated.
We ended up packing up a day early and leaving to our next location to stay.

Beautiful clean park. Spots are spacious and views of the sunrise and sunsets are stunning. Easy access to the gulf. The beach across the street is long with no obstructing views of the gulf. The pooI area is gorgeous although the club house has no restrictions in regards to Covid safety. I gave it only 4 stars because they state they have a pickle ball court and I wouldn't call the area a pickle ball court. There wasn't a net nor a fence to keep the ball inside the court and it is on the basketball court. The pickle ball court was one of the reasons we chose that park. The staff lack

My family and I came to the Blue Water RV Resort to celebrate my birthday for the weekend. We had an absolute blast. The food was great, the grounds were very well kept and the people were amazing. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made our trip so great! And the fishing was so amazing. We will definitely be visiting again! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful new place. Pool and showers are very nice and kept very clean. Management is easy to work with and very attentive. Easy access to beach across the street. Great fishing also. Easy to use a casting net to catch your own baitfish. Used to be John Wayne's personal fishing vacation spot and recently turned into an RV Park so not a lot of boats or traffic have ever been on this property....maybe even since the Indians or even earlier than that...before man was on the North American Continent.

We have loved this resort since the first time we stayed here! Beautiful sunsets, great fishing, wonderful people! Pool is always clean, staff are super friendly, sites are wide and level. Laundry room on site, free wifi, trash pickup, and playground for the kiddos. We go back as often as possible, definitely highly recommend!

We are staying here with our family and have been treated with such disrespect. We are of Asian decent and can tell that the guest, management, and even restaurant on site do not want us here. The female employee "Ginger" working on site 10-25-20, came and just yelled at us with a disgusting attitude and yelled the whole time she was speaking. Ginger threatened to kick us out over minor issues that could have been very easily resolved but instead came and spoke to us in the most disgusting manner. All you have to do is ask nicely and speak respectfully. No class at all! Ginger is the

This is our first stay at Bluewater. It's really a beautifully crafted resort. The staff is very friendly and what a bonus to have a bar and grill on the property! There's even a boat ramp for guests!
The lanes and sites are paved, which is always great. The only difficulty we had was backing our 40' class a into our spot without running over the grass at one point. The avenue is a little too tight for a bigger rig.
Having said that though, we probably will visit again and pick a canal spot instead. You can't see the beach from the beach spots, but the canal sites are lovely

Absolutely the best place to stay at near the beach for a family that needs it all! Fishing for dad, pool for the kiddos and a nice quiet spot to watch the sunset and have a glass of wine for mom! After a last minute trip to the coast left us searching for a last minute place to set up our RV, we came across Bluewater! We thought we were settling after leaving Jamaica Beach RV Resort. Just the opposite! Staff was friendly and helpful! New large pad sites, young newly planted palms, a beautiful pool with bath house and game room! Amenities such as trash service, Tina of washers and dryers cable
