Terrible experience with Grand realty, Jim is extremely incompetent in communication. He is the only person that runs his shop. I had my doubts going with a place named Grand Realty to begin with and I regret it, I regret not going with a reputable company. Jim is extremely horrible in communication and doesn't respond to anything. My lease ended on June 30th and I made sure that everything was super clean based on the lease and brought in professionals to clean the place and payed a lot of money out of pocket to clean the rental before I left and left it spotless floor to ceiling. I worked with Grand Realty Group for both property management in 2019 and sale of my home in 2020. The staff there became like family to me. Extremely helpful and responsive, I always felt like they were looking out for my best interests. Things were always handled smoothly and promptly. Grand Realty has managed my rental property for almost two years now. I was hesitant to have someone else look after my rental house but can't believe what a great job they've done.
On top of that, they were able to find really great tenants for my home which I'd been unable to do even once in my previous six years of efforts. The property is well taken care of and communication is excellent with the team.

I have worked with Jim and staff for the past 7 years as my property manager and my realtor . I was placed in a stressful situation of being a landlord to a property and living in another state. Jim and Amber and staff were always amazing, helping me any issues that would arise and making sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner. Communication is always important to me and I was always able to get ahold of Jim or staff when needed. Jim also became my realtor once I decided to sell.my property, with his expertise I was able to list and close in 40 days!!! I would highly recommend Grand

I would highly recommend Jim and his team at Grand Realty to anybody looking for help with real estate matters in northeast IL. Jim worked as our property manager for the past 9 years and we couldn't have been happier! We relocated to New England for work in 2011 and had to rent out our property as we couldn't afford to sell. Jim and his team managed 10 of my properties for 6 years (I live out of state). Jim took over after I fired my previous manager (they had done a terrible job and were up to some shenanigans).
