If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is absolutely disgusting in every way, from the greasy, overpriced, freezer-burnt food to the unhygienic and rude staff. There are dozens of other breakfast places in Asheville - skip this one.

I went here to meet a friend in 2018. We had to wait an extremely long time before being seated, and then were ignored by service staff - and they seemed horribly understaffed. A manager or something who first greeted us was weirdly rude. After another 20 minutes with no service, we left. No loss, there are much better breakfast places around; and I am told the food here is very ordinary.

I went to this business and saw a disgusting sign on their door. They are not in compliance with the MANDATORY mask mandate in Buncombe county. Since they are LITERALLY BREAKING THE LAW I had to leave. I don't want to give my family COVID. Disgusting business ethic. And to flaunt it??? Hideous. Shame on you.

Chaga tea was yom on this crisp morning. Good breakfast - reviewing with 5-stars because this place doesn't deserve 3 stars.

They don't care if you live or die. they only care that they stay open. Are being charged with openly defying the mask mandate. Do not support these people. Oh, I have been there about three times before the pandemic and the food was really average. Breakfast place that can't nail a over easy egg.

First time here and it was wonderful!! First off my coffee was hot, hot and delicious with ice cold 1/2!!

I ordered the Avocado Toast with GF bread and hash browns. I asked for my eggs over medium and they were perfect
The hash browns were honestly the best I've ever had. Crispy and delicious!!

My husband ordered grit bowl and he said it was delicious also!!

Definitely coming back!
Staff was wonderful and accommodating!

I appreciate the level of choice this cafe offers to those of us who don't believe in wearing a mask. The service and the food were both amazing and those that support our freedom of choice are at the top of my list!! For those of you who slammed this cafe over the whole mask BS shame on you, they were fantastic! Not everyone is drinking the mainstream media koolaid!

Ok, let's get the reason people would patronize this establishment out of the way: the food. Frankly, it's sub par, at best; bland, tasteless, and definitely overpriced at worst.

And now a word on their opposition to simple, easy-to-follow pandemic guidelines: If they won't do this, what other hygiene guidelines and laws are they refusing to follow?

Great experience! The food was delicious and the service was even better. 10/10 recommend. The "Funky Monkey" pancakes (add chocolate chips) are amazing. They also have the best home fries (roasted potatoes) ever!

It was true love as soon as we sat down because the salt shaker was filled with pink Himalayan salt and the only sweeteners were non-toxic! It only got better from there... Organic creamer for my coffee, organic eggs, delicious gluten free options with warm and friendly service. I want to start every day in this amazing, high-vibe place. It's truly a gem.

Food is alright, but overpriced for the quality you get. Staff were nice, but not a single one of them was wearing a mask! You can see back into the kitchen and they had about 5 people working back there and numerous servers moving around and not a single mask in sight! They had a sign on the door that said they know the masks are required but they can not force anyone to wear one if they have a medical or religious reason not to. What are the chances that every single employee couldn't wear one?

Rise 'n Shine: the place you go because the line at Sunny Point was too long, and there were too many hipsters at Biscuit Head, and there wasn't a table at Five Points, and because the Denny's had been closed for years now and you forgot, and because the code of conduct standards at the Waffle House were too classy for your liking.

We stopped here for breakfast a few days ago. While not bad we were not bowled over.

I had the wheat pancakes and my dining partner had eggs. We also ordered biscuits.

Unfortunately they were out of biscuits. I can understand that as we did get there later than the average breakfast time.

But what really stopped this place from wowing us is that my dining partner's eggs were cold. I don't know why he didn't send them back. I think frankly he was just so hungry he didn't want to wait. Still it was disappointing. I'd like to think we're low maintenance foodies but
