I purchased a bike from Folsom Bike about 2 years ago. I got superior service... which I cannot say I received from the local Trek corporate stores. I was so satisfied I recommended them to two friends who both purchased bikes there this year. Oh, and I've taken bikes to their service department several times over the last few years. They are honest and have quick turnaround. If your bike doesn't need a part replaced, they won't try to sell you a new part. And, if they can easily adjust something to solve a problem, it won't cost you anything.

I cannot say enough good things about this shop; Travis the crew are superb both in sales and service. They guided me in my purchase of my new Trek 6 carbon frame fitness bike and I have never regretted it! My family and friends have been referred to Folsom bike...and that nice little coffee shop is a bonus... We love you Folsom bike!

Just bought my new Giant MTB from the EDH store. I am just getting back in to mountain biking after many years away so I had many questions. The staff at EDH guided me through my selection with excellent insight and advice. providing stellar customer service both pre and post-sale. I have gone back a couple of times with questions and am always treated to the same level of service. Very impressive and should serve as an example top other small businesses.

Muuqi was extremely helpful and patient with me when I brought my road and mountain bikes in for service. I appreciate it so much! The entire staff was friendly and helpful, I will always bring my bikes here. Thank you for making all of your customers feel welcome and comfortable, even when we’ve been out of the saddle for many years :)

Rating 5.0 TLDR: these guys know their sh.tuff. You got questions? They can answer them. You need something fixed? They can fix it. You need to buy something? They will most likely have the inventory. Also, they are super friendly. One of the best bike shops I've been too. I will definitely come back for their business.
I was in search for a indoor smart trainer, and I originally went with a "shall not be named" joe schmoe all over California bike shop (not folsom bike) since they had a stock and were in VERY close proximity. Sadly, when I got there, they didn't know anything

Just bought my Giant Talon 4 and some extras from Folsom Bike and the experience couldn't have been better. When I came to pick it up it was ready and the only adjustments I needed were the brakes so they are to my liking, but everything else was set up perfectly, they helped me get some better grips installed and had them ready by the time I got all the things I needed and was checking out! Thanks to Josh for his help in store and to him and Andrew for over the phone help and getting the bike paid for over the phone so they could hold it for me as it was the last one. Thanks for your help guys

They did an amazing job helping me and my partner fit her new bike for her! Travis and Kay, I believe his name was, were very knowledgeable and helpful with not only making sure the bike fit her needs but answered every question I had about multiple items. Highly recommends them to anyone getting into biking or needing advice, you'll be in good hands.

I recommended Folsom bike to the person who gave me a ride to drop off my bikes for service as well as to the person who took me to pick them up. The staff at this location is awesome! (And I have no reason to think the EDH location is any different, but I've never actually been.)The friendliness, knowledge, care, help, patience are all beyond reproach. Every time I enter the store I'm greeted by name by at least 2 employees (usually more, depending on how many are actually working that day), and they remember my bikes as well!! Particular shout-out for this most recent visit. They got my bikes

I bought a new Trek road bike here the beginning of February and it was a terrible experience over all. We received poor customer service right from the start and lack of communication between employees. When I brought my bike back in the middle of June for my free tune up, there was again zero communication between employees that I was arriving (even though I had made an appointment) and the gentleman who handled the tune up was very condescending and rude. My bike didn’t appear to have been tuned up at all and was still even dusty from my ride the day before. Last of all, it has only been about

Bike snobs, it's a thing. I don't mind paying a couple hundred dollars to have my bicycle tuned up only if you can tune it up correctly. You work on bicycles not rocket ships there's no need to have such a high and mighty spandex type attitude. Bicycles bro it's what children ride. Don't ever forget that, children used to ride bicycles now it's the sled of the soy boy

Incredibly rude and unwelcoming experience when inquiring about a tuneup for my wife's bike. The person at the counter was extremely unwelcoming to us. We let him know that we had brought my wife's bike in for a service and he rudely said that we're scheduling for the end of August. I get it that they're busy but at least show some courtesy by thanking us for coming in.

In a time where finding a nice bike in stock is nearly impossible - Folsom Bike came through with not only great availability, but with great employees as well. After several months of searching at my local bike shops and online with no luck, I found a great bike on Folsom Bike's website and purchased it right away. First thing in the morning Travis gave me a call and congratulated me on my purchase and set up a time for me to come pick it up.

We just want to compliment your sales associate Travis. He was the main reason for this 5 star review and the reason why we chose to buy 2 bikes (Treks Rail 7 and Treks Verve 2) and equipment from your store. He was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and he went out of his way to provide excellent customer service. Some of your other sales associates need to learn a thing or two from Travis because we did receive some not so stellar customer service from the other associates. Thank you Travis!

Highly recommend this shop! It's very close to Folsom Lake and the employees are excellent.
I was visiting the Folsom area for the afternoon and desperately needed spacers for my steerer tube (misplaced spacers the night before installing a new stem). Brought my bike into the shop and the folks at Folsom Bike were extremely friendly and immediately took my bike to the back to fit new spacers. The mechanics also noticed that my stem wasn't tightened properly so they got that dialed and educated me on proper setup.
Thank you Folsom Bike!

Overpriced, Rude, pretentious ...only good is they have a decent selection, but I can go online for that. I heard them tell another customer over the phone that he should take his business elsewhere! I know I will be doing so.
They sold me the wrong size rim tape even though I explicitly told them the wheels I needed it for. The price was $23.99 and I didn't really bat an eye at the time until I was near Mike's Bikes and went in to purchase the correct size and the price was $13.99. this is for the exact same length except the width was slightly wider for the tape at Mike's Bikes

Three strikes and you are out...
I tried to buy a bike from you in September last year(Trek Domane SLR7)and had a really poor experience. I purchased elsewhere.
Shook it off and returned around May needing a small part for my Trek STP 400. Totally indifferent service. In this store not spending much must mean unimportant.
Returned today and was greeted by a really nice young man. We talked a little to define my reason for the visit(very pleasant). Just looking for ideas to replace my old school Trek STP 400. My 2020 Trek Domane SLR7 proved how dated my 2010 Cervelo R3SL was. Thinking the same

Folsom bike is practicing social distancing and only allowing a certain amount of patrons in at a time into the store. They offer two lines outside for Sales at the left door and Service on the right door. All employees and patrons must wear a mask.
Friendly welcoming staff. Staff ask you when you are entering store what brings you in today, getting us in quickly to what where we needed to find. We came in today to purchase a couple of insulated water bottles for our bikes. Competing pricing and the products were in stock; makes for a successful trip to Folsom Bike. This Store has a lot to offer
