A lifelong resident of the close-knit community of Coxsackie, a small town on the Hudson River located 130 miles north of NYC, dedicated public servant Wayne Parks founded Coxsackie Transport in 1991 as a way to better the lives of the neighborhood children he knew and loved. There were many students in Mr. Parks' local district with special physical, social, and behavioral issues that prevented them from riding regular school buses.
