It was one of my worst stay in any hotel. Bed was no where near comfortable and there was spiders and house fly in the room and not very clean. There was no curtain on the windows just broken blinds. Requested for room change but declined because no other room available. The best thing about the hotel was there view of lack.

I wish I could give The Beach Inn 20 stars! This hotel far exceeded my wildest expectations and was by far the best on a 800 mile trip around the UP. The staff was thoughtful, helpful and the room was the cleanest I have ever had (and I have traveled a lot)! We had a second floor double queen room. The room was welcoming, comfortable, light and spacious. The functioning windows and back patio were wonderful. The patio was swept clean, no spiderwebs, debris or dirt with cute red chairs. The Lake Superior view from either the patio or backyard was great. The backyard was very large, manicured, included

Loved it. Great place to stay. No real "frills", but an excellent base camp. Suggestion to the event staff: Make a drivable side entrance so load in/load-out is easier for event staff. Make a driveway, driveable path, whatever will ease the pain of setting up and tearing down events. It is an absolute joke that event staff have to ask around to have vehicles moved so they can get in and out.

The shower water pressure is really low, the bath faucet handle flops, there was no decaf coffee in the room, there is no place to hang clothes, the mattress was uncomfortable. We paid $300 for a one night stay in room 222. I am all about supporting local business, but this stay wasn't worth the $ by a long shot.

Cozy. Fridge and microwave in the room. They do sell soft drinks in the lobby, but there may or may not be a night shift on duty :-) Rooms open up into a full length porch overlooking the water. Beach is not for wading. There was a coffee maker in the room, but someone forgot a filter. All in all, a lovely place.

First the people here are great. The place looks like an old motel that was renovated and added onto. The room is sparse in electrical outlets with nothing on the nights stands. The balcony was great for watching the fireworks. The toilet is so low to the floor due to the age of the place. The shower head was spraying out because it was cracked from someone over tightening it. All in all it was not with the $280/night it would not even be worth $120/night in my book. The room was clean but that was about it. For the cost this place was a disappointment. Also the toilet backed up and they had no
