Alger Falls Motel

My wife and I recently rented the double cabin this weekend for our anniversary and I can't even begin to say how wonderful it was. We walked in and it smelled like maple syrup, was cute, cozy and clean. An absolute pleasure to stay and easily accessible on the road. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a romantic getaway or even a family vacation with the kids.

Clean and very nice cabin. The desk staff person was always very helpful. We are looking to go back!

Clean quiet comfortable affordable, nice location near Munising. Nice & friendly hosts! Host recommend the Dogpatch restaurant for breakfast.

Stayed in Room #112 this past week with the family. Overall experience was just ok.
Pros
- Quiet facility, noise from the road is very minimal inside of room.
- Beds were comfortable and got a decent night's sleep
- Shower had good pressure and lots of hot water
- Reception area accommodating (ice machine was down, but was provided with bagged ice by clerk at no cost)
Cons
- Carpeting was dirty, needed a good scrubbing / cleaning (Acquired dirty feet while walking barefoot in room)
- Breakfast not provided with stay, only coffee
- Price paid for room felt inadequate; was not given enough

Great lil motel outside of Munising. Just stayed there last week. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were nice and very clean. Would definitely stay again . I if I were in the area. Prices were low. Fortunately we were there 2 weeks before the big tourism season starts which is July 1st

Very pleasant experience. Staff very accommodating. Room was quite comfy as was the bed. Slept well and not bothered by traffic. Price was right and we had everything we needed. Shower was great!

Old-school motel. The rooms are comfortable, if a bit small. Not much in the way of seating or work space, but good WiFi and comfortable beds. Located just outside Munising, but easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely locally owned motel. The hotel is wonderfully located right by Munising - with access to a wealth of nature trails, beaches and boat rides, delicious restaurants and bars, the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and countless attractions.

The staff was lovely from check in to check out. Everyone was so friendly and helpful!

Perfect accommodations. We stayed in their two bedroom cottage....couldn't have been better! Very clean and cute.

I visited Munising with a few friends and we stayed in the large cabin that they have. We were a party of 6 and it was the perfect amount for this place (I would keep in mind that there was still only 1 bathroom in the cabin).

I felt welcomed and was able to enjoy my time at this place. They had everything that we needed in the kitchen. We brought food and the fact that we did not need to worry about bringing plates and other cooking materials was great.

Nice little motel about 5 miles from the center of Munising. Our room had a fridge and microwave, which was great since we were there a couple nights and also had smoked fish with us. The staff is super friendly. There's wifi and good selection of cable channels.

It's not the quietest spot if you leave your windows open as you can hear cars driving by, but it's totally fine with the windows closed. Would stay there again.
