Our mechanic team is well-known for having the highest quality of service at reasonable prices, handling the most complex suspension tunes and rebuilds, and typically turning around jobs within 24-48 hours. We don't like to brag, but we are pretty confident you won't find this level of service anywhere else in the area.
Services
CYCLEOGICAL was started in March of 2012 and has strived to create the best specialty bike shop in Dana Point and Orange County. We are owner/rider/family operated by passionate bicycle enthusiasts. We specialize in professional bike maintenance and repair service, sales of parts, accessories, clothing and sales of the best new mountain and road bicycles.
Strider's Classic 12 is a lightweight, pedal-less balance bike that allows your child to straddle the bike with both feet on the ground and easily propel the bike by walking or running. This nimble steel bike lets your little one focus on the fundamentals of balancing, leaning, and steering without the distractions and complications of pedals or training wheels.
The ECR is Surly's answer to those times when you just need to escape to the woods for a while to get away from the humdrum of life. Those familiar with this steel mule know it's designed around plus tires, previously of the 29 variety. A fully loaded 29+ bike is an excellent way to explore and get away for a while.
Get creative with your surroundings. The 5010 turns obstacles into features. Its nimble, poppy feel makes even the most mundane rides feel like they're loaded with features to hop, skip, and jump over. It's the kind of bike that makes new trails feel as familiar as the back of your hand. 27.5 is the fun-sized wheel size.
The Terra Linda is built for the flat-bar fitness road rider, commuter, or those looking to take advantage of bike path recreation. It features a lightweight aluminum frame, smooth-riding Chromoly fork, and mounts for adding a rack and fenders. Marin's sport fitness geometry gives the bike a light and lively feel while maintaining stability and control.

Great shop, needed a quick fix on my Mt bike, so I could do my evening group ride and Brian ( the mechanic) totally took care of me! Very fair price too! I will support them when ever I can and believe in supporting all our local businesses that treat us right!

Customer service is absolute garbage "we're too busy, I will have to call you back" (you don't get a call back)
Enough with the 2020 pandemic excuses, if you are too busy hire some more people. You have no problem selling a bike for $10k but a swipe for a few parts you too good for? go figure.
Funny thing is when you can get them on the phone and ask them questions they don't know half the answers. They just know how to Fox Factory kashima bling/AXS/Stickrd up a bike.
Take your stuff to a shop that knows that they're doing like Bike Co or Pro bike, even Rock n Road

Yesterday I would of given them a one star rating. I took my RadCity bike because of a flat tire and decided to have them also to do a full maintenance on it which included cleaning my chain
mechanism.

I was able to pick it up yesterday which was 9 days later and understandable because the bike shops are busy and plus parts are hard to come by. Thinking my bill would be around $150 maybe a bit more. The cost was $235. I took a ride this morning and in certain gears it was slipping so returned it back this morning.

Shawn the manager took my bike in and when I called back later he informed

Best bike shop I have found in Orange County. Ralphie and Eric running the retail side are super hospitable always stoked to say hey. Sean and Russel and the rest of guys even when they are super busy will stop and chat to see what the issue is and will if they can get you riding ASAP. Thank y'all Cycleogical I prob wouldn't be as stoked on riding if I didn't have y'all in my back yard. Thank you!!!!!

Should've trusted the reviews, so lacking in manners and customer service. Walked in and clerk yelled and flailed his arms as if I had done something wrong. Told me I needed to wait outside. I did so for some time then decided to take my business elsewhere. Blame Covid all you like, doesn't prevent the use of manners. I wouldn't been happy to discuss my questions and potential purchases outside had someone come out and asked. Anyway, I guess I'll take my purchases to the big box store nearby.

Very kind, I did not buy anything from the shop, however the gentleman who was opening while I was getting coffee took the time to help me fix my bike before they even opened. I asked if he knew what may be wrong with my brakes and he did not hesitate to stop what he was doing and helped me.

I forgot his name, wanted to say thank you!

Service and attitudes were horrible. Too bad because I've bought bikes here before and had previously thought was a good place. Can live with nothing being done after waiting 2 weeks (they said 3-5 days), can even deal with no phone call to update....but the complete indifference and arrogant attitude when I stopped by to find out what was happening, YIKES.

Walked in today. Just looking to get into bicycling, the sales rep. was understanding and educational. At no time did we feel pressured or rushed. So many businesses will try and push you into something just to make a sale. The rep here truly seemed interested in helping us find the right fit, not just making a quick sale. Refreshing experience, would recommend to family and friends.

This is my local bike shop and I don't plan to change that. These guys know their stuff and are super friendly and reasonable. They usually have the best stock of higher end mountain bikes and parts to match. Sean, Bill and Eric are always helpful and work with each customer to make sure you are stoked out when you walk out that door.
I've now purchased 2 bikes from here and a plethora of parts over the years. I also bring my bikes here anytime they need service that's beyond my mechanical abilities. Rebuilding dropper posts, wheel trueing, etc, they got you covered.
Definitely

Super Customer Service!! Chris, the teacher answered the phone, he was kind and answered my questions. He let me know because of Covid my bike may not get fixed, but to come to the shop and see what could be done.
My bike was damaged in a car accident, Chris sent me to Meng the bike mechanic. Meng is a talented mechanic. He worked on my bike trying to unbend my rims...worked with the chain and looked for damage..possible cracks in the frame from the accident. He was doing his best with my bike with hopes I could still ride it while on my vacation. He cited the areas of concern and detailed the

Have only been here twice but each time was a great experience. Went in yesterday just to get a new tube for my front tire. I was unaware they had limited service hours due to the COVID situation and would have completely understood if they told me they could not swap the tube for me at the time. However, Ming overheard me talking and said he would do it for me real quick. Before I could even pay, Ming took my wheel and had it back to me in less than 5 minutes. Even more so I do not believe they charged me for the service, just the tube.
Yes I may have stood there for an extra few minutes while

Best bike shop in Tri Cities - the crew knows their stuff and will get you back on the road rolling smooth whether you pedal a well-worn 10speed or a high-end carbon enduro missile. Their product pricing is competitive with the online stores by design, and their service rates are more than fair.

Awesome service, was halfway through a ride from LA to San Diego and passing through Dana Point when I had a serious issue with my front derailleur. Fortunately I found this shop online and asked if they could do a quick fix. They were incredibly helpful and took 20 minutes out of their already busy day to re-install the derailleur so I could finish my ride down the coast without a further hitch. Big shout out to Brian who had a lot of great advice for the rest of our route and how to get the wonky derailleur fixed long term.

These guys are the best! I called Tuesday took my bike in on Saturday to replace a cable, they fixed the cable AND put the upside down back to front brake pads in correctly and fixed my brake hoods so they are horizontal. My ride today (57 miles) was fabulous and I owe it to the great service . Ask for Sean when you call.

Nice shop located conveniently off Pacific Coast Highway. The staff is friendly and working very hard to accommodate everyone, especially throughout this pandemic. Due to COVID-19, the store is setup where you want to do most of your shopping from the door but the staff is more than happy to help with anything. They are OVERWHELMED during this time so please, remember to be patient when dealing with them. It’s hard for small businesses right now and we are lucky to have such a nice shop here in Dana Point! Thank you Cycleogical, I’m so happy you carry too brands like Pivot, Intense, and Santa

Tldr: failure on a very basic procedure on a very expensive equipment.
A year ago they changed the oil of my Pinion C1.12. They were very nice. Today I did it myself since the procedure it's extremely symple and the only reason I didn't do it myself was because of lack of time. So I just changed the oil in my bike, and to my surprise I had to take out double the amount of oil that should be in there (120ml instead of 60ml), so basically it looks like last year they just added the oil without removing the old one. Not the care I expect in my $3000 gearbox. Hopefully since I did not ride too many

Great bike shop! Friendly and fast! I used to get the cheap tunebup at the big box store I bought it from and ALWAYS had problems with it. When I brought it in to this place my brake wouldn't even move. They fixed it earlier expected only took a few days (which was really fast for how busy they are right now). My bike rides better now than it ever has before!! They were awesome, I will definitely go back!! Thank you so much, I can finally get to the beach!!
