I am a Wilmington native and a lover of travel, music, concerts, and all things about the beach! While the journey of therapy can be scary at first, I am known for making the process a little easier by meeting you where you are, finding your strengths, and implementing some coping skills to help you on your journey to wellness.
Sand Dollar Wellness understands the rising costs of health care in our area and the stresses that come along with it. You will find that our rates are very reasonable when browsing costs of other therapists in the area. Our office staff is happy to assist you with this process, but contacting your insurance company prior to calling us can assist in speeding up the scheduling process.

Was told to get there early for an appointment, the building was locked, scheduled another appointment and was given a card for a different date (the date i agreed to) amd received a text for a different date. No one answers the phone to cancel my appointment after a few voicemail. I don't know whats going on. Recoeved no calls back, no one answers the phones and I don't know whether to show up on the date I canceled on or what. Went to therapy for anxiety, got more because of their lack of communication. Stay away from this place

Be very aware of how your insurance is billed. The gentlemen at the reception failed to do his verification the way he is supposed to and my BCBS was charged instead of the Cigna which provides for the Behavorial health. They also fail to tell you that not all the providers take the same insurance there. BCBS therefore denied the charge and we had to pay out of pocket! The information was right there on the insurance card! Of course my dealings with the ‘business office’ have failed to meet with resolution because no one has the good manners to call me back.

While trying to find help for my 11 year old child I was fortunate to find Jennifer Roofner. She made my child feel very comfortable. She has worked extremely hard to make sure he receives the help he needs. Ms. Roofner has worked on her days off and has made a world of difference for us. She has such compassion and is extremely knowledgeable. While the decision to get therapy for you child is a very hard we were very fortunate to find Jennifer. Jennifer has gone beyond what was expected and I am very grateful. I would highly recommend her.

I just honestly have to say that the therapist and staff here are passionate about their jobs and care deeply for their clients. I am grateful to have one of the best therapists that I trust and feel comfortable with and believes in me unconditionally.
