You are all by far a great team and will highly recommend this wonderful service to any one I come across. I have been very pleased with the treatment I have received from the staff. They are patient and make me feel at ease. I am very thankful that Dr. Bowman sent me to You'all and am thankful to be rid of much of the fluid on my leg.

We accept most private insurance. Please refer to your insurance plan for coverage of Outpatient Occupational Therapy Services. Unfortunately Medicaid in NC does not cover Outpatient Occupational Therpay services. Outpatient Therapy is not covered while you are recieving home health services under Medicare.
Find out more about how we work through our patients' feedback as well as their stories of hard work and health management. Due to a drug interaction, my body went into renal failure and became very edematous. As I recovered the edema gradually resolved except in my lower legs. Robert and his excellent staff got me over that problem very quickly and, since then, I've had no more swelling.
We need to have access to the feet and legs, up to the knees. Shorts works great. If wearing pants, make sure they are loose enoug to pull up to the knees and back down over the bandages. We need to have access to the full length of the arm. A loose short sleeve shirt works well. If wearing long sleeve, make sure it is loose all the way to allow for several layter of bandages underneath.
One of the most common causes or contributing factors to Lymphedema is Obesity. Lymphedema Therapy is effective in reducing the symptoms. But, wouldn't it be nice if we could actually address one of the underlying causes and improve the condition long-term. Fortunately, Lymphedema and Lipedema have received more attention in Medical research in the last few years.
