Services
After you searched long and hard for the home you are buying; you deserve the best home inspector you can find. I understand that you are making one of the biggest investments of your life and a quality home inspection is a must. With First Choice Home Inspection you will receive an un-biased, honest, home inspection with your best interests in mind.
Why is Mold growing in my home? Molds are part of the natural environment. Outdoors, molds play a part in nature by breaking down dead organic matter such as fallen leaves and dead trees, but indoors, mold growth should be avoided. Molds reproduce by means of tiny spores; the spores are invisible to the naked eye and float through outdoor and indoor air.
Aerial Video Technology (AVT) offers many advantages to home buyers. It saves time. It eliminates the potential for damage to the gutters from an inspector's ladder. It allows a more thorough roof inspection of dormers, cupolas, gutters, ridgelines and other hard to access areas of the roof.

In addition, it allows inspection of a wet or icy roof, roofs with a steep pitch and roofs covered with tile, slate or other materials that inhibit a physical inspection. In addition, the AVT sends a live feed to a Bluetooth enabled device via secure network and allows the inspector to record problems and share results with customers in real time.
There are two reasons to get a termite-WDO inspection when you are buying a house. Either you are concerned about the possibility of termites munching away inside the walls of your new home, or it's a required part of your real estate transaction. VA loans, some FHA loans and particular financial institutions require a WDO (Wood Destroying Organism) report as part of the loan application process.
Infrared (thermal imaging) is an advanced, non-invasive technology that allows the inspector to show clients things about their homes or buildings that can't be revealed using conventional inspection methods. Ancillary inspection reports are just as important as the reports generated for standard inspections.

First Choice helped assess a crawlspace water pump issue while buying my home, and we were able to have a reduction in home price and a professional system installed due to their assessment. Thank you!

In this tight market, buyers are scrambling to get inspections done before the offer review date. First Choice had only one slot available, the day before the offer review date, but Tyler walked us through the highlights on site, and then got us the report before midnight. He was incredibly detailed in his review and found things that I hadn't seen, even though I'm a pretty experienced homeowner/landlord who does a lot of their own maintenance. We made our offer with confidence that we knew what we were getting into, and that we wouldn't have any unpleasant surprises - because he did our inspection

First choice home inspection did a complete inspection prior to us purchasing our new condo. I asked to be present at the inspection and I’m so glad I was. He was thorough and professional and pointed out several things that we could do in the future to avoid costly repairs.
All of the repairs that he pointed out to the seller were repaired prior to our closing. It was money well spent. Not a lot of people know about the service, but it’s a real lifesaver.

Great service!! Tyler is very professional and easy to work with.
Not only have I hired Tyler's services personally, but as a realtor, he is one home inspector I recommend professionally to my clients. Two instances specifically stand out for me.The first time was a buyer inspection where on a relatively newer home, he pointed out issues that saved my family from a defective roof, which we were able to negotiate.
The second time was on a prelisting inspection for my buyer clients who needed a consult and there was no other inspector available to help us out. Tyler made himself available on short

First Choice Home Inspection came to my house 2 months ago.
Tyler listened carefully to my concerns and inspected my home thoroughly and methodically, at times explaining as he went. He went to every corner of the attic and crawl space, and up on the roof. His report came back online in about 24 hrs with clear descriptions and pictures. I was very happy with his inspection and would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to know the condition of their house.

I have worked with Tyler and First Choice for both pre-inspections and inspections as part of a purchase agreement. Tyler is always responsive when I reach out to make arrangements and set schedules and he is flexible with the rapidly-changing real estate environment. The work he does on site is excellent. He is very thorough with his inspections and works hard to ensure that my clients clearly understand the results of his work. He does his work at an exemplary level and I 100% endorse First Choice!

Tyler is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to explain things if you want/ask questions. He also reiterates that he is available to you after the inspection process for any questions. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone thinking about buying a home. You want to know what you’re getting into!

Had a great experience with Tyler at First Choice, which came highly recommended by my realtor. Tyler arrived before me, was incredibly thorough and detailed in his inspection. He also took the time to walk me through his findings and made sure my questions were answered and I felt comfortable with his report. Since buying my home, I have yet to discover an issue that he didn't already notice or flag for me and my family.

To start out, I'm a computer guy. I know next to nothing about construction. So I figured I was going to get a written report I barely understood.
Well, I got a written report (the same day, no less) and it makes perfect sense, because Tyler talked through his findings with me, answered all my questions, and went into detail when needed but still at a level I could understand.
Bottom line: you want him to do your inspection - if I need another one some day, I know who I'm calling.

Our house inspection was very comprehensive and detailed. The report outlined areas that needed to be fixed asap, as well as those that could be a problem later on. Tyler is a pleasure to talk to and gave lots of advice on several topics. He also did home inspections for my son as a first time home buyer, and was very helpful in answering all of his questions. We highly recommend him!
