We do charge a $15 pet fee. This helps with the additional cost to prepare the room for the next guests who are visiting with their pets. Services
You'll catch me in the office taking calls, answering emails, and managing the overall operations of The Villager. At night I'm typically hanging out with guests around one of the many campfires. During the day you will see me going room to room making sure all of our guests and new friends are enjoying their stay.

There was mold in the freezer and mold on the bathroom walls when we came here we found the drawers had underwear and other clothes from the last people under the beds has food ants and spiderwebs there is no shampoo or soap in the dispenser the mattress has black spots on it good price though with a nice pool and grills with a river behind it

There is mold in the bathroom the door is broken with plastic pieces coming off of it different chairs in every room with one having a Hawaiian Like Straw chair Aeons the beds are not cleaned either of the blankets nothing is wipe down or sanitized the soap did not get refilled in the bathroom there's mold in the freezer and the playground not that it matters that much they'll probably fix it eventually but it's just completely destroyed or know there's a wood board broke again so then the rest of the playground is closed so yes

At first the room did not seem that bad as it did appear that the new owners were trying to fix it up. When we went to use the tv, it did not work, Someone came to looked at it and replaced one battery in the remote. Went out for the night came back and tv did not work again, Since it was late, went to bed with no tv, In the morning went to take shower got one warm one and that was it, travel companion could not get one as there was no hot water. When we checked out no apologizes for our problems just told they would look into it.

At first it wasn't so bad, stayed for 2 nights and the room was fairly small, the sink in the bathroom was literally hanging from the wall hanging by a thread of caulking, the fridge was tipping over and barely standing with a badly placed board underneath. All that would have been completely fine up until I saw the ants, believe me when i tell you they were everywhere! Bed, bed stand, bathroom floor, sink, and the table when you walk in. I wouldn't recommend this place especially if you have small children, it's just not clean, if they had put a little effort into this place then

We come up for a girls ski weekend away.checkin was smooth.had an issue with my car as well as a snowstorm,had to stay an extra nite.the owners were very helpful in this situation.we stayed in cabin 11. Yeah it could use done fixing up,however it's a nice little cabin.liked to close proximity to attish.I would stay here again

Before coming I call and get a rate, but the lady is difficult and it seems she wants an argument. When I arrive at 7:oo p.m. the place is locked solid. I'm ringing the doorbell but no one's answering, then someone let's me in.
I can feel tension right when I walk in. I try to be pleasant but she's on a bad mood. As I leave for my room,she locks the office door behind me and shuts off the over head light.
The room is o.k., The a.c. isn't working and the pillows are no thicker than sheets.
I'll stay elsewhere next time.

The room was filthy. The bed did a serious number on everyone's back. The room smelled so bad. The kitchen utensils were dirty. The sheets had hair on it, and the blankets had holes. The pillows were yellow and smelled like a nursing home. There were Cheetos in the heater which I'm assuming is the complementary breakfast. This reminds me of the hotel where you die in the movies. Never again, gross.

Filthy dirty!! Toothpaste in the sink,feces on the bottom on the bowl,hair in the shower,chain on the door was gone,stunk of bug spray no microwave as described. If you want coffee don't think about it as the sun is coming up because the family running the motel doesn't think about it in fact if you go there they know that there soda machines are not working and have not bothered to fix them so bring a drink

My husband and I stayed recently with our 1 1/2yr old daughter. The room was decent. Looked like a typical motel. Happy with the location as our plan was to visit story land, Which is only 10min away. I liked that they had fire pits although we did not get to use it. The bed was not comfortable at all. We had a king size bed that was very hard. I woke up sore every morning. I took my daughter to the play area the first night we arrived, which is just a big hazard. The baby swing was broken, the boat with the slide had several boards missing. There was actually one large hole my daughter fell

I am giving this motel 5 stars for customer service. Whereas i never actually stayed there i accidentally made a reservation thinking it was close to waterville valley. Turns out it was 1 1:2 hrs away thanks to expedia's misleading website. The lady i spoke to at the motel was understanding and instantly gave me a refund for what was a nonrefundable booking. Very good customer service, thank you!

One star is generous. I'm writing this review to warn people NOT to come here. Ten years ago I stayed here with my husband to ski and it was decent. Last summer, we came back and honestly, did not want to touch anything in the room, it seemed so unclean. The rug felt moist, there were lots of holes in the walls, the dirty caulk, holding the moldy caulk in around the bathroom sink and tub were just disgusting. Couldn't wait to leave, in fact tried my best to stay outside the whole time except for sleeping. It's sad, it was a cute charming place to come with the dog. It's definitely

I tried to make a reservation through the online referral service used by the motel website. Never heard back until after 5pm on the first day of our trip. A 'confirmation' email came at 9pm on the night we would have checked in!
When I called the motel, the woman who answered started yelling at me for being a no show ....to a reservation I never had! She threated to charge the card number (needed for reservation request) but agreed not to charge it. Of course, she charged me anyway.
These people are rude, incompetent, liars and theives. They deserve 0 stars but the minimum is 1.

It really is too bad that I have to rate it this low.
The facilities are decent enough and the location to Attitash would make it seems perfect. The motel is run by a couple. The gentlemen is clearly the business and the success if probably being held back by his partner. She didn't want to be accommodating and really wasn't all the friendly.
Our room was clean, as far as we could tell. We had to stay in the more expensive room because we were traveling with our dog(an increase of $10/night) and there was a $15 a night pet fee(not stated). So, at 12AM when we rolled in I was displeased

We recently stayed at the Villager. We are a family of 5 with children aged 5, 7 & 9. We stayed in the Large Queen Room which were clean and updated. The pool was clean too. The rates was compareable if not less but the hidden gem is the path that leads to the Saco River right in back. We liked having the fire pits and picnic tables right outside the room. We would stay again if looking to stay in the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 2 yr old and 9 month old. It's clean enough and the beds are fine. It's just that there were bugs inside the room and they have rat poison under the bathroom sink (which my 2 year old discovered!) Free breakfast is same as staying at Hampton Inn...make your own waffle, corn syrup and cereal. Also, the person taking care of the facilities sound sick. He kept coughing.
